16:50 Se vede in golurile alea o alta culoare albastra...

@popacristian205611 күн бұрын
@@ShamansHut Multumesc!

Hello from Texas..I see a lot of what looks like white quartz in your river. Panning for gold would be fun and maybe fruitful. I found this on the web: Romania has the largest gold deposit in continental Europe. Other natural resources include: coal, iron ore, copper, chromium, uranium, antimony, mercury, gold, barite, borate, celestine (strontium), emery, feldspar, limestone, magnesite, marble, perlite, pumice, pyrites (sulfur) and clay.

Yep, there are a lot of riches in this Earth and there was a lot of gold exploitation going on, especially in my area. I don't think that panning is legal here, I didn't look into it, but I will. Thank you for your support!

Last time we were there (my wife and her family are from Bucharest), which is now 25 years ago, we were traveling along one small stream where there was a lot of bright silver schist - like the kind were garnets are often found. We didn't have a hammer, or a lot of spare time, but I always wondered if some of that material might have had some garnets. None of the pieces we picked up did, and I cannot recall where we were exactly. Possibly somewhere between Targu Mures & Cluj. There are a lot of great mineral specimens coming out of the mines there, but I'm sure they won't let anyone else hang out on the tailing piles.

There are some great places around the Cluj area to hunt for agates and fossils, I promised myself I'll get there soon :) You can pick up specimens from old abandoned quarrys, as long as they are surface finds. I've found some pretty ones myself and I wish to do a bunch of quarry videos too, sometime this year. If you ever come back to Romania, let me know, maybe we'll go on an adventure together.
