1/3 blood volume still in placenta so I agree wait until the placenta is out. Also increased iron stores that will help prevent nb anemia.
Can a cervical stitch cause Brixton Hicks?
I have tons of daily Braxton hicks and some cramping. But it's happened with every pregnancy. I've tried so many things to stop it. In past pregnancies, they even gave me ivs and it didn't help. All my babies came around 39 weeks. I've been told I just have an irritable uterus. But I'm 23 weeks with twins now and it's stressful 😫
39 week is not preterm , its full term
O negative
I’m currently 20 weeks, 3rd baby and the 1st trimester was very difficult this time around. Not able to do anything, achy body barely surviving but I did get through it.
I'm 35 weeks and the past 3 ultrasounds have put my baby measuring bigger (this will be my first baby). I have another US at 37w. I don't have GD (reading was a 67) and I eat pretty well! Sometimes maybe too many desserts haha. I'll find out in 2 weeks if I'll need a C section 😬
This was really helpful, thank you guys!
What is the name of the equipment you use to drain the water?
❤
This is an amazing video! Thank you for this! I was told I have a big baby, they now scheduled me for an induction, I'm 40weeks. i'm 4'11 and hubby is 6'5. So, idk. I'm still gonna try to do it naturally. My first one was just 7.1lbs it was 9yrs ago though. I know I can do this! I will take my worries away! Update: I gave birth to a healthy baby, he's 9 lbs and 4 oz, vaginal delivery. I pushed for 40 minutes. Thank God! If you set your mind into it, you can really do it!!!
So glamorous 😂😂😂
I didn't have any ultrasounds with my children, but I can't shake the fear that something would have been caught on a scan that we have missed, such as a problem with an organ. They are all healthy, but I worry I should have done differently.
Why is it a terrible book? I’m 5 weeks currently and was going to buy it
Please let me know I'm 33 week pregnant my baby is in 36 week growth of 2.9kg . Doctor is ecaring me that she is optting elective C section.
Our baby was 12lb and tore my wife open she had to have 16 stitches
Wow, thank you so much for this video. Please as a registered midwife who got her degree from a 3 years midwifery program, how do I upgrade my degree to a higher level like Certified professional midwife
this video helped me deliver my daughter 7 years ago very fast, no tears, and an orgasm as a bonus. Going to do it again soon

You guys are seriously the best! I had such a beautiful birth with your wonderful care and help ❤
I had shoulder dystocia with my son . He was 7lbs 7oz and it was traumatizing ! It was a unmedicated birth I don’t want to get a c-section but idk what to do this time.
This video was amazing, I learnt so much thank you.. bless you both for all your amazing work
What herbs are good for relaxing the uterus during pregnancy?
What’s the name of the medication to stop preterm labor?
My midwife failed me. My first birth experience was a planned home birth turned hospital birth due to a cervical lip that wouldn’t budge until the car ride to the hospital. I agonized at a 9.5cm for 6+ hours. Contractions were every 60 seconds lasting 60-90seconds for the duration of 6+ hours and after screaming bloody murder for the last 2 hours I said I need to go to the hospital. 10 minutes in the hospital and baby was born, however it was very traumatic. I tore up, tore my labias and clit off and needed to be put under right after birth due to the tear / repairs needed. As soon as we got to the hospital I had 4 nurses holding me down, one at each limb, and the Dr at the end telling me to push as fast and hard as possible. I know the Dr did this because I came in screaming like a banshee and she knew the quickest way out of my misery was for baby to be born. But it happened much too fast. Baby was only in the birth canal for 3 contractions and normally they are in the birth canal for 30min-2 hours. After the birth my midwife apologized and said she should have made the call herself to take me to the hospital and should have done it 4 hours before I felt like I was going to die. I’m pregnant again and burnt. I hear these great stories and cry. I read all the books, drank the teas, paid for the homebirth/midwife and I was left with a terrible experience. An experience that left me feeling like my body failed me and I can’t do it again, but really my midwife failed me. Makes me very sad….😢
I'm so sorry to hear about your experience but think its so healthy you are talking about it. Its a good place to start.
What kind of material is the garment made of?
So how do you actually become a direct entry midwife? I have found my calling in this field and I just completed training to be a doula and am looking to also complete birth attendant training but am highly interested in being a direct entry midwife. I don't really agree with regulations and licensing because I am a voluntarist and libertarian but I don't want to get into trouble either. I'm in Tennessee how do I learn what the requirements are here and where do you go to get insurance?
Have you ever heard of When Push Comes to Shove? Or Artemis Birth Attendant Academy?
Thanks so much for this I feel more confident and relieved, and no I'm doing the right thing by trusting my body. 😊
Thank you for this information! I have some cramping and will try the nuun tablet
what happens with cost if mommas want wmodwife to be at hospital and deliver there instead of home
Love this so much!
What kind of tub do you use?
What suggestion do you give to someone who exhales thru open mouth and cannot seem to breath thru nose
Awesome video
I’m surprised most people are watching this. I looked for testimonials and needed this.
My sister is currently having a home birth right now and I’m anxiously waiting news. It’s stressful after 2 of my 3 births were not straight forward. One sever shoulder dystocia resulting in an emergency delivery (5kg baby) and my third didn’t produce surfactant in his lungs so it was a rush to ICU when he pretty much stopped breathing. Neither of these scenarios could have been predicted and I can’t imagine being at home for these births. I have everything crossed for my sister!
Hopefully your sister has talked these things through with her midwife and talked about protocols set in place! What a supportive sister you are!
Thanks for the information 🥂
My doctor sent me an email saying my baby was weighing 3 lbs 11oz at 29 weeks but I wasn’t told anything else could you share with me what should I know
My big baby definitely didn’t sleep through the night 😭 maybe next time!
Thank you for educating us on this!
Thank you for this video. Just got a call that my baby might be too big based off of an ultrasound and was told about all these risk but she did say I could decide to give birth naturally but there are risk if they are too big. this video gave me some relief. Thank you!
Hey name sake sarah
Hi I was just wondering is that ok if a mom is 40 weeks pregnancy
Do you have apps you recommend for tracking our cycle? You said some that don’t predict your period?
Cannibals
Bad story about your father-in-law, I would be so pissed about that and with my husband too. My parents already express their desire to be at the hospital and I don't want them there so I told my husband that we don't call anybody until baby is out. No news, nothing, they will have to wait for our cue.
