Some facts about the Film need to be rectified. 1/ Even if the actor is good, at the time of July 14, 1789 the Lieutenant (not yet General) was not yet 20 years old since he was born on August 15, 1769. So he is younger than the actor seems to have. 2/ Battle of the pyramids The battle of the pyramids took place but about ten kilometers from the pyramids and the guns only fired about eight hundred meters. Moreover Napoleon would never have fired on the pyramids. At school, all schoolchildren know the famous words he said when the army saw the pyramids: "SOLDIERS, THINK THAT, FROM THE TOP OF THESE PYRAMIDS, FORTY CENTURIES OF HISTORY ARE SEEING YOU" BONAPARTE, 1798. 3/ Napoleon was an artilleryman and until proven otherwise he never charged on horseback, at least to my knowledge. 4/ Yes indeed he allowed himself to be encouraged by his soldiers. He was very popular in the army. 5/ Coup d’état (Rebellion) of 18 Brumaire of the year VIII (9 November 1799) This Coup was not so easy! Indeed, if Napoleon was never afraid, but that day he was really afraid : when he entered with 4 grenadiers in the room of the Orangery where sit the five hundred (masterful error), the deputies shout and shout "Down with the dictator!" » « to death the tyrant! ". They physically attack him (however the myth that he was stabbed is false). He is saved in extremis. He is afraid of being arrested, called to arms, followed by his brother Lucien, and the action is sounded and the rest is in the film. 6/ I do not agree with the term: Tyrant. Napoleon was a dictator yes but a tyrant no. Besides, most historians agree that Napoleon was not a Tyrant. 7/ The ball (in the sense of dancing) of the trailer where Napoleon meets Josephine was called "the ball of the victims". The guests must have had in their family a guillotined person. 8/ Napoleon was not only a warrior, he was also the instigator of laws written in particular: THE CIVIL CODE: The French Civil Code (or Napoleon Code) was promulgated on March 21, 1804. Napoleon succeeded where all governments before him had failed. It is composed of : - Preliminary title: Of the publication, effects and application of laws in general - First book: Persons: which concerns in particular (marriage, domicile, divorce, adoption, etc.) - Book II: Property and various modifications of property: which concerns in particular (ownership, usufruct and easements, etc.) - Book III: Of the different ways in which one acquires property: which concerns in particular (donations, contracts, the marriage contract and the respective rights of the spouses, contracts, legacies, loans, rentals, etc.) The Civil Code still exists in France (although deeply modified) as well as in other countries.

just to give u some knowledge, am french, when people of paris choped the king's head, people in france were lost, cause the french king was the representant of god on earth in french catholiscism. So there was big pro-monarchist riots and rebellion under the 1st republic and you can see in the movie napoleon shoting at the crownd to stop it, it is pretty accurate. AND there is a miss conception in english speaking countries, as usa are culturally close to uk, u have tendancy to listen to them, BUT France was fightin the rosebeef empire iutsd why they dont like us and him. People were carried on the battlefield by napoleon, he was leading assaults, in italy to cross a bridge defended by italians at arcole, in Toulon and it's fort (Toulon was occupied by the british and liberated by him). he was not a political coward. People believed in him during dark times and french peoples didn't like the new corrupted governement( inforcement of child labor, stuff like this) which was starting wars on neighboors to force them to the republics and stop them to be monarchies. People saw the politicians stayin in paris while they sent people and political oponents to the battle field, not like the king did before by leading armies, and like napoleon did himself. The governement felt it and sent him to Egypt far away from Franceto cut the british link to india by occupying egypt. When he came back he saved France again leading a big battle and its why the army, the people whanted him as king. AND as the Empire was restored by french charlemain in 800 AD after the fall of rome and its disparition. Germans stole the tittle to the french for 1000 years (approximativly), and its why he crowned emperor, itself like romans not under the pope and christianity to unite as much old related roman empire people to relate to the french empire. When he lost first time he has been sent to exile and monarchies imposed France to come back to monarchy and to stop being a republic by puting the brother of the old dead king by guillotine 20 years before. Its why when he came back no one would die for the fake king and all joined the emperor. Why all the BS would you ask?? Because we are not rosebeef, because we would not let the english dominate the world and us, because we helped usa to become independant and uk hates us for having done it. To unite europe to be present in the new world powers. They did 6 coallition to destroy the republic and the the empire, with russia, sweden, germany, austrian empire, spain, portugal because they were all monarchs unable to handle the new will of the people. He sold louisiana (the real one, not the actual state of louisiana) to the US to finance war, AND because he knew you would be too powerfull to fight you for this land so it was a perfect diplomatic/financial/political move, He created the basics of the actual laws used in any other country not using english common law. Driving on the right side of the road, because of him and his hate of the english, it spreaded with the empire, and i assume u in america had the same reflexion at the time. And by the way excepted first war coallition ,we didnt start anyone of those wars, english slutterred all french adults men with Euope powers to be sure we will never be a threat again, they chopped parts of France and its pretty much how we are today (excepted the south east given by savoy for helping them into the italian unification during 1860-70s). Its a lot of miss-conceptions, propagnada and franco-english rivalry this subject but am happy to see that america stop peeing on us, THE only ally that you have since day 1, just sayin facts

Napoleon is my favorite historical character because he is a mix between Madara and Itachi the most badass person in history they did not hesitate to kill if we prevent him from realizing it's idea without him there would always be slaves always slaves noble and bourgeois with social class Napoleon was against the rule that children inherit a country just because he was a prince for him had to be competent broken all his in France and in Europe and indirectly in the world it is for its that he is hated by many people at the time even today there is a lot of propaganda to jump it's idea of freedom he created so many things like school for all children hospitals for everyone the right to choose a job because we have talent or skills before we could not a peasant remain a peasant except in exceptional cases even if there were intellectual or physical capacities superior to others because we always favored the noble ones Bourgois and the priests I'm not even talking to you about the kings... Napoleon was a visionary he was a very arrogant genius and his past is not the type of behavior at the time even today in real life to give you an idea he has even predicts that one day China will be the most powerful country in the world its a lot of laughter from kings and intellectuals who use propaganda to belittle it as for its size or make them mean so that their people do not adhere not at it's word or its truth

Kingsley Ben Adir also portrayed Malcolm X in One Night in Miami and is one of the Kens in Barbie. Yep, he is having a big year. As far as the movie goes, i can't wait!!! I've been a Bob Marley fan my entire life. I was first introduced to him at home by my Trinidadian family, and in my 6th grade art class, the teacher was a rastafarian and always played Bob Marley's music in class. This biopic is long overdue, and i hope the world listens to his message and put it into practice.

Hello. Just stumbled upon this react video. My parents are from Pakistan and I lived there around 8 yrs during the 90's and early 2001. The original song video I believe is from 1998/99 and when I discovered it for the first time since than here on YT, I almost broke down. I loved this track back than as an early teens person and enjoyed it even more now. You can find the original video of this song here on the KZread :). There are other awesome bands from 90's Pakistan namely Vital Signs and Junoon to name a few. I was not born in Pakistan, but living there briefly did impress me, at least years after moving out and living in the West. I am in late 30's and 100% fluent in the native language of Pakistan, even when I didn't have any Pakistani friends here in Canada that had lived there long, and only spoke English for the most part.

Creed III is going to be are hard epic movie. The journey of the fall but rise because of the sins from the past. Life hits hard like a Rocky movie. I can feel the spirit of Rocky in this movie even though he is not in the movie. Regardless of how people may feel about that all that matters is paying homage and respect to what was left and now you build on that foundation. As Sylvester Stallone told Michael B Jordan on the last night of shooting Creed II and he said, go tell your story and then the last line of to Rocky Adonis after the fight with Victor Drago. Rocky said, it’s your time now. My brother in Christ Craig James aka 5ive made a song called rise and it’s so true how life just beats you down in the present and things from your past come back to add more weight as you feel hopeless. Even if you have moved on from your past it seems like it comes back regardless if it’s someone you hurt or someone that hurt you it always comes back full circle and needs to be addressed to have closure and peace but no matter what happens whether you fall on your face because of your own clumsiness or because someone wants to get back at you and take back what it is you supposedly stole from them. So they try inflict pain, guilt, and bloodshed. God can uses bad though to turn it around for good and victory. Without defeat you will never appreciate the times that you win. No matter what happens in this messed up and crumbled up life whether it be people to use you to get ahead or the pain they cause is because they don’t have God in their life or they have taken the wheel and told him this is my life. It doesn’t matter though how many times you get knocked down you can always get back up if you choose to and as long as the referee doesn’t count to 10 you can rise from the canvas. The hand of mankind has failed and will continue to let people down but the hands, the arms, and just the presence of Jesus will never fail you and how I know this is because i am in a season right now and been in seasons in the past and God has and will see me through just like he will with you if you take his outstretched hand and let him pick you up off the canvas and you listen to him as he manages you through this fight called life. Be blessed by the song in the link below one love in Jesus name. 1 Timothy 6:12- Fight the Good Fight Of Faith m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/q6Bm2Lp6pdXAacY.html
