I record Paintball play mostly at "The Siege Paintball" in Big Bend, WI but will also be doing some special events at other fields around the area that will allow me to fly.
These are all taken with a dji Mini 2 for 2023 & on.

I got several. I posted the Osprey's since it was the 1st uploaded & went into a different Playlist. The other 44 were posted after they all uploaded. I can't say exactly what times they were recorded because I was bouncing between Private Parties, Walk-Ons, & the Team Practices. Hope I got you in some of them.

No. This is Commando Paintball in Little Suamico, WI. About 20mi N of Green Bay.
Today was not a good day. After unsuccessfully attempting to drown the drone, belly up in puddle with just the leg extensions showing, I flew it up into the bottom of one of the containers. Breaking one of the arms & ending the days flight. It's still in warranty so I'll get a replacement. Plus I still have my Siege Drone for normal flight!

Was 2 of them today. They do Birthday & Bachelor runs. Today was 1 of each.
Pretty awesome. We can never truly stop nature and it always finds away around our buildings and structures.
Seems they really want that chick with mutant powers.
I watched this nest last year till it was abandoned after a failed Egg laying. I didn't know if the nest would be used again but took a flight up to see a Female sitting in the nest & a Male perched a few feet away. Hopefully they will have better luck this year. Would love to see some hatchlings!

Thanks. Sorry the RvB didn't make it up last night. Had to stop & reset everything cause it was gonna take 1 hr 40 min for the 1st video. But they're all up now. Also KZread don't like really long videos so you'll see a 15+ min video followed by a short one. Oh well.

I was out there for 6 hours with my brother last Saturday was curious if you had any footage that drone was right over me a couple times I was wearing a chucky hoodie trying to critique myself I blew out my back during the matches

Only thing I can say is to look at each video & see if the group you were playing with (Walk-On or Private) was on the field. If you find them, you're welcome to DL, Edit & do as you please with them. My fun is in flying my drone & watching the games.

No. My Spark had a Mic in the Remote that could pick up all kinds of noise, like shots & yells, & such, but I crunched it last year at Apocalypse's Gold Rush Event. Since it was 2 years out of production. So I got the Mini II "Assuming it would also have a mic, but in dji's infinite wisdom, decided they were of no use. I'm experimenting with different apps, but so far no luck.

Thx. :] If you know of any Fields within 2 hours of Milwaukee that will allow me to Fly, I'd be happy to pay them a visit once or twice a year for Special Events. When I do this, I copy the video's to their Computer, if available, with permission to edit & do as they please, only Credit me with the recording if they use it for a monetary promotion. I also tell the people I record the same thing. My enjoyment is in the recording & watching the games, since I can't play as much as I used to.

The only 5 man Tourney I've done was at The Edge in Janesville, WI on 07/23. I posted those video's that night. Kinda sucked, tho. Too poles & overhanging trees meant I was hovering about 50' up & back far enuf to see the near corner bunkers. Not like Siege where the nets are all 14' with net almost to the top. My main hazard is the High Line running along the South End about 20' above ground.

It's kinda blurry because I'm using the 4x zoom to look close while not getting too close.

I know. The Edge, in Janesville, WI is only the 4th Field I found where they would let me fly. I also go to Apocalypse Paintball in Poynette, WI twice a year for 2 main events, & Commando Paintball in Little Suamico, WI. But I'm at Siege every weekend, whichever day has best weather. Also don't want to drive more than 2 hours each way since it means up early, long drive, walk all day, then another long drive. For me it's combining 2 hobby's. Love flying the Drone, and been in paintball literally 1/2 my life, starting in 5/87. The drone lets me "Keep a toe in the game", even if I can't play as much.

@@augere9620 I always choose the day with best weather to go, unless I'm travelling to one of the other 3 fields I fly at. I've taken to calling Siege my "Home Field", since the places I played & worked for 32 years closed permanently, 4 years ago. :[ Doug & Robb are both great people, & the Refs aren't as obnoxious as I use to get! :]

Total Agreement! dji has, in their Infinite Wisdom, Decided a Drone didn't need a mic. The Drone, don't but the Remote could use one. My Spark had a mic that could pick up people yelling and shots fired from over 100 yds away. A mic is also useful for commentary by the pilot. If I was in a business where I used a drone, I would want a mic so I could point out things pertaining to the work. But then I'm not the genius's at dji!

@@ishankazthuri I never learned to "Edit" video and really have no desire to learn. I just upload the Raw Data. It's why you'll see me flying down paths "Searching" for players, or trying to get to the sound of firing. :] As I commented to one player: "I don't know how to edit so I can't take that Faceplant out"! :] It's also why I encourage people to take the video's, edit them, clip them, do anything they want. Just credit me with the Recording is used for Promotional Purposes. :]

I'm 72. Not as "Spry" as I used to be, but still manage to get a few games in every year. Note. This is with 2 ruptured low-back disks, a Fused neck disk, 2 torn rotator cups and nerve damage in both arms & lower left leg. Healthwise, I'm great, Structurally, I'm falling apart! :]
@@harryspaintballvideos3097 72! Wow. That's even older than me! The problem as I see it is paintball went all Action Sports on us. It used to be 1000s of guys in camo on a ranch for a weekend. Now it's a handful of Olympians in dayglo sprinting around a "field" the size of a racquetball court for 15 minutes at a time! These days players have to be 16-years-old just to be able to get out of bed the next morning! 😅 I got heavily into Airsoft once paintball went the way it did, but even that eventually became an exercise in wondering where all those darn kids disappeared to. In the end I built an Airsoft/Paintball tank. It's my golf cart.

I worked at Paintball Sam's in SE WI, the last 10 years as Head Ref, till they closed in 2007, The Breakaway took the field and '08 & I worked there as Head Ref till they closed in 2018, & then Power Paintball took the field, but they really preferred indoor & bought 2 in Illinois. 2 friends of mine were going to buy the field, but he started getting headaches & blurred vision. MRI found 2 tumors, 1 un-operable. He couldn't afford to buy the field, and that was the end of the, IMO, Best Paintball Field in SW, WI. 275 acres of woods, with ridges, trenches, swamp. Had 3 2-stort Forts, a village which peaked with 59 8x8 huts, a random open field with no pattern to the bunkers, plus a HyperBall filed & Airball when it came into play. Plus, the "Big Game Field" which stretched 1/2 mile "Straight Line" from one fort to the other. Hosted 1140 players in one game, & I actually got to play in it. After that, I was done with Reffing. Got tired of yelling at people with the ID 10 T Syndrome who would take their goggles off on an Active Field! Now i just fly & play a cpl times a year.
@@harryspaintballvideos3097 Yeah, good times. I took part in a 10,000-player long weekend match. Started on Friday afternoon and didn't quit until Sunday night. $100 per head and all the paintballs you could eat. There were a bunch of old guys -- I was in my 20s then -- and everybody had a blast. The trend toward speedball killed it for me. I was in pretty good shape in my 30s, but I'm a huge guy and it took a lot of energy to compete with the younger, smaller guys. Too much crouching for long periods followed by bursts of energy. I couldn't feel my legs for days afterwards. Airsoft is a great substitute, it has advantages over paintball, but you can't beat father time and I aged out of that game too. Until I built my tank, that is.... :)

1 side of that field has much better bunker placement than the other...smh.... they need more organic games with organic obstacles/cover. The air bags barely protect you and you're almost ALWAYS squeezed in somewhere.... this doesn't look fun to me ...
These fields are designed as Tournament Fields. If you watch the 5v5's where most of the players on the side are wearing the same outfits, these are all Tournament Teams & Doug sets this up for Team Practice. All the layouts he uses are those laid out by the "Governing Body". Not sure if it's NPPL (National Paintball Players League) or what. When I played in Tourney's in was mid 90's and were all Woodsball. Speedball, or Airball as some call it, didn't come around till late 90's or early 2000's. Admittedly this type of play isn't for everyone. I'm not a big fan myself, but I don't play Tourny's anymore, either. :]

I saw in the movies that when they went down into the mine, people took a bird in the cage, if the bird stopped singing, it means there was a problem with the atmosphere, and if in this video the birds make a nest in the antenna, it is clear that it does no harm to anyone electromagnetic waves.
I flew up to a tower close to my house recently. Didn't seem to get any interference from the tower.
@@KaylansDrone Yes. Miners took a Canary with them because they were susceptible to the gas that would leak into the mines when the digging opened a gas pocket. Usually had someone whose job it was to watch the bird. When it started getting frantic, that was the signal to "GTF Out"! Particularly interested in the Osprey's because they're endangered, and with the Avian Flu, the eggs don't harden. I notified the Audubon Society about the nest & was requested to keep an eye on them. The Drone has a 4X zoom so I'm actually over 100' away because I don't want to disturb them, and the Male might consider it a Threat and "Kill" my drone. You can see in most of the video's that I back out the zoom, just to show I'm "Keeping my Distance"! :] Which is why the videos look slightly fuzzy. I've had no Control problems caused by the tower. The Tower is approx 65 meters tall. The drone has metric readouts & can't change to SAE.:[ But that's roughly 200'.
