  Most of my cruises were on U.S. Navy warships, they were different than your Virgin Voyages Cruise. I bet your Captain was nicer than mine. Thanks for sharing. P.S. cute girl.

  Ceannabeinne is pronounced the way it looks. Gaelic has no letter "k" so a "c" at the start of a word is always a hard "c" "Ceann" = Head, as in Malcolm III of Scotland "Mael Colum Ceann Mohr" - head big (in Gaelic the noun always precedes the adjective) akaMalcolm Canmore "Beinne" = Mountain as in "Ben Nevis" It's the mountain at the head of the coast. In classical Hebridean Gaelic it's "KYAAN-a Been", but in my mother's Assynt dialect the vowels were more flattened to "K-YOWL-na-bing" Mind you, the correct name is "Traigh allt Cháilgeag" - the beach at the stream of the old woman (reference to an alleged drowning many centuries ago)
