  Spoilers for a good ending: If the mirror represents death and all the voices accept it, then it’s quite fitting for the ending where you reject godhood and leave with the princess. That one is the canon ending for me ☺️

  The way Shifty always tries to comfort the player character. “Do not mourn her.” Aw. Is it just me or does she sound especially sad about The Wild? She finds something good in every vessel, and gives them all peace of some kind.

  @@Kubwaw Nah her interaction with Bighli at the end of Barya campaign shows that's bs.She's also been trying to manipulate the faey, enslave the rest of arleon+barya and keep the rana chained(slew the dragons).She's a big bad and an analogue of King Gryphonheart from HOMM who was a wise king while living but turned into an unliving tyrant thanks to deyja+sandro.

  Aurelia seems quite evil IMO. And the last mission of Arleon shows that the baronny of Loth has turned into a gloomy hellhole for the livings. What's is true however, is that most of the heroes of the campaign seem pretty decent (Hillar is kinda crazy, but heh, in a neutral way). Good people doing bad things for what they think is a good cause. I think Cecilia Stoutheart starts out as a complete maniac, but ends up more on the good side. Peridine and the mission 2 wielder try to get moderate her, meaning not everyone is stuck up about honour and rules in Arleon. The Rana starts out as victims but somewhat end up as genocidal maniacs (though they let humans live in their lands). Barya is just a fucked up place, even though there are some nice people out there.

  Something I noticed: If, indeed, this is actually the Narrator's nightmare, and not the Long Quiet's.. that means that the Princess is actually talking to the Narrator when she's apparently telling the LQ to let her out. This is further evidenced by the fact that she comments on the fact that she "broke you" when _he's_ unable to carry on. And considering that, after this sequence, Quiet can mention the fact that someone else had to have been in control while he wasn't since he didn't remember anything that transpired.. that means the Narrator might've been the one in the driver's seat for a while.

  The Razor is such a fun route. It's so over-the-top and hilarious - never thought Blue Steel would make a cameo amid the cosmic horror. I'm playing this with a friend, and the two of us just cracked up and completely lost it when we got to this point - laughed for a solid 5 minutes before we could really continue.

  With other perceptions you can draw similarities and metaphors for relationships, the boy first approach to a girl and what comes after, the good, the bad and the ugly, but this one... this one only has one meaning, its a message that i whole heartedly hate and its why i would just free her, she is trapped there, we get the easy way out of the cycle, she does not, for us is mere seconds, for her is entire decades... this game is peculiar in that that it is unique, because even if she is DEFINETELY a negative route... the shifting mound refers to her as someone who seeks nothing more than companionship, but can only hurt what surrounds her.
