    Why doesn’t law enforcement block the road off around the fire area so people can’t keep blocking the roads for fire trucks? That’s what they do in our area.

  • @AndersonMedia
    @AndersonMedia2 күн бұрын

    @@user-peach408 in the city of york and in the area of the fire there are many streets and alley ways. The city and near by townaship police blocked as much as they could. Our area both city and county have vol firepolice (traffic control crowd control) the city has so many vol fire police. There not enough to block every street and alley ways. There for the fire chief in command has diapatch alert near by county stations for traffic units and firepolice. It takes time to get these vol firepolice there and in places they need to be. On this scale they hit companies 30 to 40 mins away to help on both fire and traffic. All roads did get blocked off. It isnt something that can happen right away. On a smaller fire they would had enough there to block off the area. This happen in york city york county pa. There was companies for both fire and traffic from not only york county and city but from adams, lancaster and cumberland counties.

    Why would anyone drive into a narrow street and park when they see flames and fire trucks right in front of them…❓

  • @AndersonMedia
    @AndersonMedia2 күн бұрын

    @@dwightr8590 it was a major mess with traffic. I started filming just as first crew arrived. Took some time to get all the streets and alleys closed off. Even with firepolice closing the streets people still tried to turn down the streets. I used to run with the fire co, and any time you have a incident road closed n detour set up its always everyone lives down that street and seems its the only way they know how to get home or to work etc.

    Where is traffic control? Why are they letting the people drive right in front of the fire?

  • @AndersonMedia
    @AndersonMedia2 күн бұрын

    @@DavidGlaum it took time for firepolice to get there to set up traffic control. There was non emergency personal trying to keep people away. On a incident this large the city has to call in resources from the county stations and takes some time for the volunteers to get there. In this area there are many streets and alley ways that needed to be blocked. During the incident they did get areas closed off just took some time.

    Such fires scare me; you never really know what is in a wharehouse. If the building is old, you dopnt know what may have leaked into the structure over time. It probably has no sprinkler systems. Overhead wires make life more difficult for the crews. The citizens still driving and parking near the fire are stupid.

    Toxicology report supposedly was clean, which makes his death even more suspicious. I can't believe that someone who was sober and that wanted to commit suicide would go drown themselves in a lake, especially when they owned a pistol such as Stringshoe did.

  • @AndersonMedia

    I didnt see any that info on the tox report. I didnt think they be back this quick, most take 4 to 12 wks. I ve know people who was facing a bad illness (ex terminal cancer) and rather go through the pain and suffering they took their life and another had so much going on in life they thought that be the best choice. Not sure about hobos situation and how he ended up in the lake. He is in a better place now and will be deeply missed
