Since the "remaster" leaves a lot to be desired, I want to recommend a different game I found on Steam, that should be right up your alley. It's called "Withering Rooms" and takes inspiration from titles like Clock Tower.

I loved the Bowser board bank in Mario Party 2 that 'lent' you coins by passing it and the person who landed on the bank had to pay back the balance. It was a comedic change of pace that sadly wasn't ever used again to the best of my knowledge.

Help I’m playing this game on the ppsspp emulator for iPhone is there a reason why my duel field looks zoomed in ? It doesn’t show the whole field . Only for this part of the game the rest is normal

About the Ao Oni sequels, yes, it's true they all have loot boxes, and only the first sequel "Ao Oni 2" is translated to english (sorta) here's more details: *It's a really clunky game, especially with the oni chases *The puzzles are really convoluted *Not only does it have loot boxes, but is also plagued with ads and microtransactions *You'll notice that I put the game's title in quotations, and that's because is literally the same game as the original. It even has the same cast as the first game (yeah all of Hiroshi's friends that are supposed to be death, are alive in this "sequel"). The only difference is that instead of an abandoned house it's a school and there's some new characters, like a teacher and some traveler *There were supposed to be different playable scenarios involving all of the characters in the game. And this is where the sorta on the english translation comes in. The only playable ones are the main one for Hiroshi and the one for the traveler and this one is not even translated in english

Aside from the achievements, the game over screen, and maybe the PNGs changed out for slightly better ones, nothing's changed. This is probably the most lazy "remake" I've ever seen.

I know this is late... but if the XSX controller works well for anything that isn't on emulators, then it's not the controller, it's the emulator. That 8BitDo group makes decent enough controllers that seem to work very well with emulators. Or so I've heard.

Too bad I couldn't stick around past the first hour of the stream, but it still was fun chiming in on fun lil' factoids. Edit: Turns out it DID happen 2 hours into the stream. Huh. My solution still works about as well as far as I can tell, though. I don't have much to say, but I do have a crucial tech tip. If you ever happen to come across a glitch after saving where your accessories inventory becomes weird as hell (i.e. weapons becoming restaurant food), then that usually means that the "Save Complete" prompt didn't appear after saving. I've heard conflicting reports on this, iirc, but running back and saving until the prompt actually appears should turn your save back to normal.

Comparing this "remake" to other classic RPG Maker remakes like Witch's House, you can really tell this was done for money, not love.

I think randomly selecting your mon before destiny tower is a good way to not lose your mind. You're really dealing yourself a random hand and just playing the game. Like I don't go in every attempt in a roguelite like slay the spire expecting total success. And knowing that I can't always expect success helps with that.

Not sure if you ever played it, but I'd recommend Pokemon Inclement Emerald for a Romhack series someday! It's a hard game so not the best ever to Nuzlocke, but it adds all mons up to gen 7 + mega evolution + a lot of great QOL. It's about as hard as the Drayano hacks, which I've seen you played here on the channel.
