    The main thing is about the 'reserve chamber' where the oil can flow into, to account for the displacement from the rod movement. Otherwise it would be like an excavator cylinder in which the rod can not move because there's no place for the oil to go.

    Very much agree with the comments about this being purely unrealistic.. this C5, B5-7 platform can be up to 20 years old .. and no way will our cars look this the example in your video.. in fact that suspension has never seen a day or rain or snow

    This video is useless. You do not tell what kind of tool and tool size you are using. You do not need to dismantle the brake, just dismantle all screws around the absorber and the spring. After that, open the hood and unscrew all 4 screws holding the absorber and the spring.....

    everything sounds good but this is no help if I can t buy shock absorbers for my vehicle from Monroe. They don t build them............. why ??? ( Peugeot ion, or Mitsubishi imiev )

    You have to remove the sway bar linkage bolt so it will drop down in order to remove it. I just did it and it came out.
