The park is beautiful, but I heard that they had a sloth that died while in their care. I also learned that a monkey was beaten by other monkeys, so they had to put him in a cage. I’m guessing it might have happened because they didn’t socialize him properly with the rest of the troop.
The sloth had been gone for some time before this visit, they just said it had died, but there was no explanation. I don't like to guess as to reasons.
This is why I don't buy a physical copy, I just pirate it!
I can't even use the phone app, because I downloaded it on a phone that broke and that code won't work again.
I've been able to use the same code on multiple phones, maybe you could contact Celestron support about it?

@@LukeofAllTrades. lol I’ve been on Navigator of the sea ,3 times this year, then going back on that ship in February 2025 , just booked ovation of the sea today, and then next year in October I will be flying to England to board the independence of the sea . I really have found cruising to be fun and also relaxing . Thanks for your video

Yes, I think with the right adapters it's certainly possible.
Hey Luke, Great video got my t-ring and my t-adapter recently for my Nikon Dslr and tried it to take shots of the moon and it was great,but when trying landscape or planets its very soft is that normal?
I've noticed mine's a little soft too. I have some theories on why, but I need to test them out and make another video. I know it has to be collimated properly, I have another video on that process. Things are busy for me right now, but I'm hoping to get back into video production by the end of September.

I have a sky watcher Helios 114x910 and when i use my camera with an adapter it can't focus on infinity only like 100m away. What can i do about that?

Do you like anything? Sounds like your miserable. Cruising has stayed popular and even grown in popularity. You know your videos would do way better if you were more upbeat and positive. People dont want a negative nancy that finds something wrong with everything. You sound like youd be better iff staying home in you lazy boy with the remote but then again youd find something wrong with that!😢
Is it necessary to adjust the primary mirror during solar observation as shown in the video?
Nope, it should be fine. Just make sure it's collimated before you start your viewing.
Nikon F flange to film plane is 46.5 mm, the m42 is 45.46mm you need to mount the lens 1.04 mm closer to the film to work properly. But with a mirror in the way, the pin sticking out and a lens opening about the same size that is not possible. Thus the lens addition to push out the focus plane of a M42 to over 46.5 mm will fix the focus problem The added mount treads was designed for the proper distance knowing most m42 have the A / M switch The cardboard was a good idea but you might want a dark color to prevent adding light refection.

Those are usually provided by the guest entertainers they have onboard, and there is usually at least one during every sailing. So yes, probably!
Food was terrible. Definitely didn't have that cruising feel, more of a Christmas shopping mall feel.

That wont work if your camera body interacts with the lens electronically. I have the Nikon Nicor series and the auto focus interacts electronically. If you don't have a compatible adapter, the electronics will show an error message & not work.
Most cameras will function, but you have to switch into Manual mode for the camera. You will then adjust the shutter and ISO manually. Focus also has to be adjusted manually.
The secret helped. I spent too long piecing A3 paper tiles together, stressing about their squareness. I now have a better idea of how to verify the plan's accuracy. Cheers! J

I agree. I was not too happy with this cruise. The shows sucked. The food was ok. Bar tenders were so slow making our drinks. Workers are not very friendly. I agree with the movies on deck as well. The teen room was not very much fun for the teens. We have been on Carnival once and have done Disney many times. Love Disney. Will give Royal another try but a different ship. The evening dinner wasn't that great either some food was ok. Our waitress had no personality at all. Actually, most of the workers didn't. I would rate it a 4 personally. Hopefully next Royal caribbean cruise will be better.

You are taking the insults well lol. Honestly i want to do this but am afraid of getting an incel jaw so thinking of throwing in an apple a day or chewing gum. Also probablh make my own shake because soylent has for whatever reason caused some to get kidney stones, which sounds very scary. Also studies on longevity show vegans have a lower life expectancy than vegans and health conscious non vegans
I only have these kind of shakes for lunch, I eat plenty of food that requires chewing. So far no kidney stones, but they don't run in my family, and I drink a fair amount of water too. I am certainly not vegan, but this is part of being health conscious and trying to make sure I get some vitamins that other food might be low in. I'm not a health influencer, obviously, just sharing my story.

We just went on quantum of the sea to Alaska only to find out that the north star attraction had been broken for a year. We were never told when we booked the reservations that wasn’t working. One of the main attractions and they sold us the package telling us. It was working only to find out it doesn’t.? After complaining to customer service they did not care. Make sure that the attractions are working and especially the Northstar..
I had no idea! That definitely seems like something they should mention in several places! I certainly went on the cruise expecting to be able to go on the North Star (if I could secure a free spot), so making it clear that it would never be open is crucial! Thank you for sharing, hopefully people see this and eventually someone responds when it reopens!

What's the point on putting some rough acrylic plate in front of a telescope? I mean, we spend lots of money to get nice pictures, no deformations... all ruined by some bad acrylic stuff :D
It's an easy way to attach the solar filter! I'd love to see a comparison of image quality with and without the plate, do you have a video showing that?
Better than separating the beds on an inside cabin.We push them together and push everything to the right... and place both end tables on the left, which gives you the best of both worlds.

Question: if you were looking to prepay for a group of 8+ ppl, all-inclusive, which car would you pick? I fear the caboose had too few windows to really enjoy the full experience??
The views are not amazing, so I think the experience of being in the caboose might be a bigger benefit than having larger windows. If you really don't want it, I like the dome car we had, since it put you up a little higher and gave better views.

How come we see the same sun spots always in the same place when the earth is supposedly rotating around the sun in the so-called solar system????
I haven't taken enough pictures to track their movement (or lack thereof), this seems like a good experiment to do!
@@LukeofAllTrades. well the reason I ask is that, I’m a flat earther, we believe in a totally different cosmos system. We believe that this earth is covered by a glass firmament and is stationary and the sun and moon are only 3000 miles away and are the same size, 30 miles in diameter and that they are not spheres. So it would be interesting, your test results.

Where and when do you eat?
I haven't been to Roatan enough to have good local spots to recommend. There are a few spots near the port though. We usually just eat on the ship since it's a quick stop.
