  I ask for your help finding a particular brand for sentimental reasons. All through the 90's my grandfather who raised me wore a particular cologne like wise I would wear it too for being like dad reasons. Here now he has passed away and my Memaw is mentally living in 1976 as a secretary in Festus MO 😅so no help there and I can not for the life of me remember the name of this brand. This would have been fairly high dollar stuff likely from JC Penny or Famous-Barr. It came in a tall rectangular bottle with a gold cap adorned with a distinct gold ring. I deffer to your wisdom on the subject please help.

  Im late to this video, but i must say that it was the best comparison video of these two. You got after it straight, no bulls##t and you didnt put down one or the other. I'm going to buy Explorer. If i owned my own company i would buy Aventus...and try to write it off on my taxes somehow lol

  Rouge Prive is stunning. I snatched a backup bottle. And yes, the diabetic sweet fragrance trend is overplayed by now. I am thinking of getting the Parfum version, unless is as sweet as JPG Elixir, which is a beast but, too much. Cheers

  Gucci Guilty Elixir... Powdery... soapy... slighlty feminine... joyful... refined and sophisticated ! Among the best fragrances currently on the market !

  To my nose there is hardly anything woody nor green in Gucci Gulty Elixir. I can rarely stand those notes. I find it to be powdery, soapy and floral, but not too flowery ! Gucci Guilty Elixir is probably the most refined, most sophisticated and most polished fragrance I have ever tried.

  I'd go with the new Paradise Graden or Le Beau le parfum intense. They aren't quite as loud and do well in the summer. My Daughter (Highschooler) loves them . 😉

  My wife got me Intense Man for Christmas 2023. Took me six months to work it into my rotation and I found it really enjoyable. We just went on vacation and I took the Jimmy Choo Blue sample that came as a throw in with the Intense and wow was I blown away! This is so fantastic and alluring! I’m ordering a full bottle ASAP!

  Hello, I watched your video about creed royal oud and I had a question. Could you tell me which are the best seasons to use it? and if it is the warmest creed to use in winter in your opinion?   Royal oud is a classy fragrance and works for anytime in formal Air-conditioned spaces. Santal Royal is better suited for cooler weather and Bois de Portugal is fantastic in spring. It is also the most mature out of the three. Followed by Royal Oud and Original Santal being the sweetest. Thanks for watching 👊

  Hi Peter, can you help me decide between Cerritos 1881, and Dunhill icon ? I haven’t smelled either. I’m really looking for a cooling lavender fragrance that won’t be too expensive. I know these two aren’t known for that, but I don’t like powdery notes or sweet colognes, and was hoping for a suggestion. Thanks for the great content!

  Cerruti 1881 is a old school classic many people like. It is available for a stellar price. Icon the silver one by Dunhill is a More contemporary scent with the past on mind .I quite like it . It is, however, a bit more money, and it is harder to find. I hope this helps. Thanks for being part of ScentTrail 👊

  I own John Varvatos Artisan / Artisan Blu /Artisan Pure Artisant is OK but not spectacular. Fruity chords are clearly in focus here and also a slight spiciness, which is okay. It's enough for in-between times or a quick sip, I don't use it for anything else. In my opinion, it's the weakest Artisant I have Artisant Blu, I love it. This scent is pure summer freshness and smells simply great. Aquatic chords are clearly in focus here, as are floral notes. Very clean. The biggest criticism of Blu is that it unfortunately disappears very quickly. That's such a shame!!! If Blu had the longevity of Artisant Pure, it would be my number 1. Artisant Pure, I love it too. Also an incredibly great summer scent that reminds you a bit of a beach bar, Caribbean / Florida vibse. Less aquatic than Blu, it has a bit more sweetness in it without being too kitschy. I don't generally like sweet scents, but Artisant Pure has a bit of a, how should I describe it,... rum note... caramelized sugar might be even better and a hint of coconut and some fruity notes, lemon,... yes but maybe also pineapple. As I said, Artisant Pure has a light pleasant sweetness in it that is not intrusive. As I said, my first thought with Artisant Pure is beach bar, Caribbean vibse! Currently my favourite John Varvatos summer fragrance I'm going to get the XX Artisant Trail now because I used to really like wearing Acqua di Giò pour Homme and would like to have something similar in my collection.

  I bought today Le Male parfum, after listening to your video. My nose is a bit blind however because I first tried the Invictus Paco Rabanne Elixir, which by the way I ended up buying it also 😂 maybe later I’ll be able to smell the intensity of Le Male Parfum

  Beau de Jour only has a superficial similarity to Zino. Its like a 3 Dimensional Zino. Zino is like a picture scene in a magazine, whereas Beau de Jour is that scene come to real life. If you want an even more niche representation of the Beau de Jour scent profile, at a higher price, try ARC by Mallo.
