  If you drive a Model X Tesla, if you park it inches away from other cars, the back doors will open differently and idk how to explain it but it stays close to its car body and then after it opens up

  It's not offered as an option anymore and I'm not sure if Tesla is building the refresh model X with the rough in connection points that would allow you to easily retrofit. The pre refresh had the mounting holes on the floor that would allow you to retrofit.

  It was a factory option. You might be able to buy it from Tesla and attempt to retrofit it but I don't know of anyone who has.

  There are sensors on the side and at the top. All 4 doors will only open as far as they need to avoid any obstacles. No incidents of the sensors failing me yet (knock on wood!)
