    Could you pass on to me a list of builders that travel to sites. I would like to build an appx. 24x36 workshop/storage building. Thank you for your time. Walt.

    The food is good there But the dining area is dirty. Other restaurants in area are cleaner. It’s mom and pop so the support is there Just clean up more

    With respect, the Amish are NOT "Dutch". They came from what is now Germany NOT from the Nederlands

  • @dianeladico1769
    @dianeladico17696 ай бұрын

    That's not what he meant. He used the word 'Dutch' as a shortened version of 'Pennsylvania Dutch' which is one of the languages spoken by the Amish. In this case, Dutch is derived from Deitsche, a way to distinguish themselves from other German settlers. The language is absolutely German in origin.

    I'm dead impressed by how fast they are! And that pie crust lady! She said she had been doing that for two years, and I thought 20 years because she was so fast!😮

    Love Mrs Yoders. Simple but awesome! It was recommended to me three years ago by my favorite Amish Business, Farmstead Furniture. Please consider a review of them in the future. John and Laura Miller are two of the friendliest Amish I have ever met and I love the Pergola they sold me.

    I hope through the generations continue to cook just as you have always done. If I’m ever in the area I will definitely be stopping here. There have been places I’ve eaten at that alway made everything from scratch. Sadly years later upon my return a new generation had taken over and have made shortcuts. It’s just not the same.

    I still drool over the thought of the tomato sauce they used to have on their ham loaf. One of our favorite restaurants we used to visit when we lived in Ohio. Never a bad meal there!

    The BEST! The only restaurant in "Amish country" that I will go to. They others don't even compare. However, I was under the impression that you fried all the chicken -- It was interesting to see what "pressure frying" is.

    Every time I go to Berlin I go to your store. Its an incredible place to visit. I am so happy that I have been able to purchase from your store especially the Abner Henry piece of curly maple that is the stand out focal piece in my home. Holmes county is full of fine furniture ,but Homestead and Abner Henry are bounds ahead of the others . The brass mirror is my favorite ,& then the blue cocktail table .

    Blatantly false from someone who doesn't live in or near the community. I know this man personally, and he's most certainly Amish.

    some do not, but I also live in the same community as Abner does and the younger generation doesn't mind as much being on camera. 30 years ago, probably not but now it is less of an issue.
