    Im a closeted trans guy with a big chest. My mom knows that my chest causes me problems with confidence so if I could somehow convince her I could be able to get a binder without her knowing I’m trans.

    is 11 (almost 12) too young? My parents know I’m gender fluid but I’m still scared what they will think if I tell them I want a binder. Idk what size and I’m worried I’ll do it wrong. My chest is a bit big for my age but I’m still kinda young. what are some recommend brands for me?

    What I did is ask for one for a cosplay. My mom always knew I cosplayed and I had a convention coming up and I found one on Amazon that was specifically marked as a “cosplay binder” (I do not recommend binding with anything that’s not from a good site, but it was my first one). This worked for me so maybe if you cosplay and your parents know you can get one that way, or around Halloween for a costume. Hope this helps!

    first off, (ik im 6 months late) binding does not cause any health problems unless you bind for too long. also, binding can help with gender dysphoria A LOT, which could lower anxiety levels tremendously (if you struggle with that). I also just wanna say that Ant is such a cute nickname

    Transsexuals and transvestite are not interchangeable. I think that's why people think it's problematic. Also, the movie was remade, but I haven't seen it.

    I actually think the film is highly persceptive. Firstly Richard O'Brien IS a transwoman. Secondly the film is about what happens when white picket fence people visit LGBT spaces which views to experiment. Which is both the negative and positive experiences. The cast was FULL of LGBT actors.

  • @twistedpurple8650
    @twistedpurple8650 Жыл бұрын

    The creator is literally a known transphobe (yes trans people can also be transphobic), and the whole white picket fence people seeing lgbt people for the first time would be an interesting premise IF the people writing the lgbt people didn't have the exact same views and biases regarding the lgbt pepole as the white picket fence people basically there's no nuance or lesson leard for the straight people because any bad ideas they had about gay people where confirmed when they met a band of murderous deviant rapists running around in drag! That is not highly perspective

    richard o brien the creator is a trans woman not nonbinary. she is not transphobic many transwomen don't feel like they are women. IN fact some of them feel THAT Is transphobic to think they have to be women to be accepted as trans.

    I’m agender and I’m really uncomfortable with my chest because men stare at me creepily and I hate it. It makes me uncomfortable and self conscious. I don’t even like to send pictures to my partner because of this reason. Growing up I was always told to be more like my sister and I hated that being told that now is a trigger for me and now she won’t call me what I want to be call. She just calls me “Bug” “boo boo” and “buggie” I HATE it and she still does it. She won’t stop doing it either no matter how many times I correct her.

    l that way then you would understand that it was more about them and superficial reasons than anything. they’re not happy because of how their transition turned out because they felt like they turned away from religion or found religion because they felt they were a disappointment to their family friends and children because they were not comfortable living their truth in public because they wasn’t passable etc. some of these people do it as a trend some of them are also pure pressured into it I do believe some of them are mentally disturbed and there are even some that was experimenting and playing around with clothes and hair and they felt they looked at better as a female or a male and or enjoyed the attention and sexual opportunities they did not previously have before transitioning or trying to transition I don’t believe in most cases children should be able to transition and I also know that some parents Press and encourage their children to transition for multiple reasons they do a lot of programming and coaching etc.

    You don’t look like a boy, you look like a girl who is just butch! Like you said, you have breast and a vagina so a straight woman not wanting to date you should be for obvious reasons! If someone doesn’t feel comfortable dating someone who once was a man or a woman, that person shouldn’t be labeled as transphobic 🙄

    Hi hope you're well, I think that as you are so invested in this issue that you are too close to see the bigger picture . All people apart from the desperate select dates . They tend to be less selective foe just sex dates but for serious relationships much more so. Just look at the data on swipes on dating sites . Short none good looking men with low status occupations are out on the cold . Why should trans people be exempt from this. The fact that you were born one sex and now identity as another is a prity big thing . How many people would want to buy into the baggage that brings .

    You DO look like a BOY but unfortunately not a man and that seems to be the case for most FTM folks. 😞 It’s not to be offensive it’s just my observation as a pansexual lady. I do not agree that cis women don’t want to date trans men bc of any “sweeping statements” or assumptions like “they all have boobs/vaginas” it’s more that they prefer natural men, biological, cis men. Trans men ARE male but they are not nor will they ever be born as males and that happens to be the preference of most women who do not want to date trans men. It’s NOT transphobic, there’s no assumptions, there’s no irrational fear, there’s no prejudice or premature judgements. It is simply they want men who were BORN male.

    Yo, what don't you understand. What if a MAN, not a transwoman, put on a ton of makeup to the point where they looked very "feminine", a straight man might be attracted to certain qualities of them, doesn't mean they want to FUCK THEM, because they are not GAY! Not everything you are ATTRACTED TO, means you want to have SEX with them! If the knowledge of a trans person once being a man or a woman influences their choices on whether to have SEX or a RELATIONSHIP with someone, that is FINE Also a surgically made vagina is not the same as a real vagina, it's not transphobic to want to have to deal with it. As long as you are not hateful towards that person it is FINE! I'd also not want date or have sex with a natural born WOMAN who was not TRANS (they identified as a woman) getting a surgical PENIS... if they then turned said penis back INTO a surgical vagina, I'd still not want to have sex with them, ok?

    Hello! Small question, Is there an age-limit for a binder? I’m 12 almost 13 and i’m not sure if i’m too young to get a binder or not. But binding would make me so much happier, I have been so dysphoric because of my chest recently, to the point where i’m crying in the mirror every day. I Have a brother in-law that has fully transitioned already that I can talk to, but i’m scared to ask him as well, since i’m scared what he will say. So, does anyone know if there is a recommended age limit for a binder?
