Hi there! I'm PhonoMuse. I made this channel to show videos of my vinyl record collection, and help bring wonderful songs from musical history. I help to preserve vinyl and keep them going strong, and I update my collection often with videos. Be sure to check back often and enjoy the music! :D
People often leave me comments on my videos, and sometimes videos are blocked on KZread. I've decided to start archiving some of those comments that I like and don't want to lose them when a video is blocked. I appreciate comments about people's stories with music they feel passionate about. I have links to my Deviantart Page, my second channel known as DominoPunkyHeart, and a link to me and my fiance's gaming channel as well. :)

Definitely the Del Vikings. I thought I had the best recordings of this and Come Go With Me but, here I'm thinking just where did these come from? Definitely the best labe for both of Del Vikings Hit Songs.
Definitely the Del Vikings but, sounds slightly different here to any other original recordings I've heard. Why is that? Could it be it's the original 1955 MONO recording?
What joyful memories this brings back. My Aunt owned this record and whenever I went to her house I would play it over and over because it was the one I liked. I managed to find an old 45 on eBay a few years ago and it had a clean crisp sound (no crackles or pops). I bought it and I converted it not an MP3 and I still listen to it over and over!
Great song. I have it on CD of course. 📀 But the few vinyl LPs I have are from a used store. And I wouldn't lay odds on me being able to find a used vinyl LP of this record where I go. Although, strangely enough, I WAS able to get a copy of SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER (1977) ⚫. Wonders never cease.
Love this song
Its a good one for sure. :)
it would be amazing if you upload the whole album like Pet Sounds, Smiley Smile etc.
Fabulous song and singing. Connie Francis possessed the most distinguished voice of her generation.
I agree completely!
Fabulous thanks for posting

USA BILLBOARD HOT 100 WEEK OF MARCH 23, 1968 NEW AT NUMBER 75 PEAKED AT NUMBER 28
Best version of Mr sandman ever recorded. My favourite song of all time by the four aces
What a great song. Great guitarist and drums. Connie sounding so good. I would like to hear a modern version done but a female singer. We need more girls named Connie.

THAT VOICE OH THAT VOICE AND POWER
One of the greatest songs ever.
RIP Big Bopper.
BB HP # 36 in August 1963 and 7 weeks in the hot 100.

Beautiful song
Great video and your pick for favorite was one of her best and one of my favorites as well
Thank you commenting! My favorite singer is Connie Francis, but I love the songs and voice of Lesley Gore and wanted to make a tribute to her.
@@PhonoMuse One of my first LPs was by Connie Francis
This is just a great song. The quintessential rock and roll song of the 1950s.
1965 "Gold Standard" EP series label on RCA Victor. RCA used that label with Nipper & the Victrola on the left side of the label from 1965-1968.
Connie had so many beautiful songs after 1964 but with the British Invasion, not much attention was paid to them. It is truly a shame
Didn't Eddie Fisher record this earlier?
No, this is a Connie Francis original recorded 26th September 1966, 101.260 matrix
I have this and thought oh my God, this is going to cause some controversy but I did not know about the military men thing. I had a totally different thought about it. Love it.
Love you, Dodie
Love this oldie.
"The human brain is a fascinating thing. Once you start poking around in there, it's surprising what you can get it to do under the right circumstances. You're familiar with the term 'classical conditioning,' right, Deputy? It's when a condition stimulus...say...a song...leads to a reflexive response. In this case, to train...to kill...to sacrifice."
68 years ago in 1955 this song was very popular.
I still love it to this day.
I like Connie Cato singing this!!!
La voz femenina más hermosa del universo es Connie Francis.
