Oh my God, this old actor is just another legend, very humble and sharp...God bless him for all the Joy he has given us for all those years...!! Great actor and human being, as well...
@@MrWalkalltheway I absolutely agree! His career is so impressive, and he has touched all aspects of entertainment on stage and on screen. Such an honor to get to spend time with him. Thank you so much for the great comment!
You are a real professional Rossiter. I love the intro and outro (is that a word?) music. Charlie seemed a little busy at the end there, but you got so much from that short conversation. Thanks for sharing.
@@mikeclarke3882 Thanks so much! Yes, “outro” is indeed a word, or at least a slang term used in the entertainment industry. Mr. Schlatter had let me know before the interview that he could do only a short interview, and I really appreciated him taking the time to talk so much about his career. He has worked steadily for decades, and is so talented and friendly. Thanks for commenting!
Mindy sang the first season theme song of Family Ties with Dennis Tufano which is my favorite from the show.
@@BrittneyCooper-yb3td I did not know that! Thanks so much for adding to our knowledge of this amazing actress. Thanks for watching the channel!
It says H.M. Is now 97. If that’s true, he looks fantastic. He was great in The Twilight Zone episode The Howling Man.
@@BrittneyCooper-yb3td Hi. Yes, it is true that Mr. Wynant is 97. It was such a pleasure to talk with him about his fantastic career. Thank you for commenting!
Great conversation Rossiter, thank you! I really enjoy listening to 'behind the scenes' people like Vinton. I think your first question threw him a little, but he came back really well.
@@mikeclarke3882 He’s done so much, and it would be great to have the chance to interview him again to catch up on what he’s been doing in the seven years since this interview. This was from a time when I liked to ask interviewees if they had met Ann Miller or Dom DeLuise. It turned out that sometimes they had, and it led to some interesting conversations. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it.
He’s had an interesting career! Great interview
@@ryanc4761 Thank you so much for checking it out! Thanks. Glad you liked it. Vinton T. Heuck has had a really amazing career, and he’s contributed to so many iconic things throughout the years. It was so great to get to meet him and to interview him. I enjoyed getting to hear him tell his stories. Thank you for commenting!
I love this show. I still watch chips today. One of my all time favorite shows along with The Duke’s Of Hazzard, and Bj and The Bear. I always loved and respected Robert Pine aka Sgt Getrare.
@@troyconley727 That was definitely the Golden Age of Television. The shows of the 1970s were some great series. They combined action, humor and heart. Robert Pine was so generous with his time, and happy to talk about his role as Sgt. Getrare. Thanks so for commenting! I really appreciate it.
I read and watched “Island of the Blue Dolphins” for the first time when I was ten and I loved it. She was amazing as Karana and I’ve never forgotten. I wonder how many deleted scenes there are since that scene of her with the horse obviously never shows up in the final film.
@@elsakristina2689 It’s wonderful that Celia Kaye’s performance as Karana has resonated with you throughout the years. It means a lot to me that you came across my video, and that we visited with Ms. Kaye today! Interesting about the deleted scene; maybe there were different versions. It was so great to get to meet Celia Kaye and to interview her. Thanks for commenting!
Great interview 💯

I was at that Hollywood Show. I really enjoyed talking with David. What a down to earth guy. I grew up watching Nanny & The Professor. In fact I met young Trent Lehman, who played Butch on the show, back in that time. He was nice but very shy. I was very sad when he took his own life at such a young age. Nice interview. Thanks for sharing.
@@goplad1 Talking with David Doremus was such a pleasure, and I really appreciated the chance to ask him all about his years on “Nanny and the Professor.” You were very fortunate to have met Trent Lehman. That's what's so great about these conventions, you can meet unassuming people like HM Wynant who'll tell you all about Apes, Elvis, Katherine Hepburn, Rod Serling... and Wynant was also Mr. Freeze's henchman Frosty on "Batman!" Great interview, Rossiter!

Great interview. One of my all-time favorite shows. So glad this video was posted. Hal Everett was my favorite character. I would love to have the entire series on DVD. I was in love with Juliet Mills. She was so sweet. And Richard Long played a great father.

Larry is a friend of mine! Great to hear his voice.

She also acted on an hour-long TWILIGHT ZONE when she was a neighbor of a man who summone William Shakespeare to help him w/ his writing. She was very young at the time. Burt Reynolds had a part in her episode too.

Glad you enjoyed it! My pleasure! It was so great to get to meet Larry Houston and to interview him. He’s worked on a lot of great comics and many really wonderful other projects. Thank you so much for subscribing to my channel, as well. Thanks for commenting!
I'm old enough (but don't tell anyone) to remember the original X-Men comics. American comics (DC and Marvel) were very popular growing up in England in the 1960's, a little expensive compared to the local comics so we shared them around. However, my personal favourite comic character wasn't a super hero at all, it was Sgt Fury. Thanks for posting Rossiter.
Hey, Mike. That’s great that so many of these wonderful comics brought joy to so many people around the world. Larry Houston is a really talented comic book artist and has made many major contributions to a lot of comic books and other franchises. I wasn’t familiar with Sgt. Fury, but I’ve now learned that he was the predecessor of Nick Fury, so now I know more thanks to you. Thank you for commenting!
A nice interview. Thank you.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to say that.
A fan since he played the duel role of his own grandfather, I can’t wait to see what he does in his… Second Hundred Years.
Isn’t he astounding? Such a talented actor. It would be amazing to see him play his younger self at this age: I bet he could pull it off! And, yes, I am looking forward to his next hundred years, too. Thank you for commenting!

I liked the question "did the show inspire people to become cops"? I wanted to move to California when I grew up (I was only 6 in 1977) to become a CHP motorcycle officer, get a water bed, and of course have a trans am, lol. This was my favorite show through the late 70's and into the early 80's before all the cast changes.
Shows like “CHiPs” definitely sold the California lifestyle. My mother grew up right near the freeway where most of the scenes were filmed. Even if you didn’t become a highway patrolman, it’s never too late for the waterbed and the trans am. Thank you so much for my nice comment about my question! I really appreciate it.
Hi Rossiter Meets. I have once seen a picture of you and Joe Alaskey from an event in 2012. Did you interview him too, or not?
