  In the sunset years of the darkest period of Kenya's post independent history began the first ever state independent television station. Kenya Television Network ( KTN ) in March 1990 and its news anchor and a member of the founding team was Catherine Kasavuli. She was not only beautiful but soft spoken, well articulated with proper diction and with a quite demeanor. Catherine Kasavuli remains one of the most elegant and gracious daughters of Kenya. May her soul find eternal rest in the perfect peace of God until the resurrection morning when the Lord will call forth His faithful.

  I remember Catherine once read News of students from Kyanguli boys who had burnt their colleagues in the dorm and she broke down. I was a kid and I felt the pain she felt as a mother. I always thought she was from Kamba land.🤭 RIP Kasavuli.
