Quick question: is there a benefit to binding the shorts vs the leg itself? I have found that if the lock pulls on the shorts it can break down the prop’s hip shape vs. grabbing the thigh.

You messed up the game between harlequins and London Irish. We don’t need you in rugby you pathetic culprit. Your incompetence and unfair decision could killed someone on a rugby pitch.

I reckon the lads I coach, in a football part of the world, would love this as a warm-up. Some of my fellow coaches might choke on their bacon butties, mind.

Oh my goodness. Watch Matt Carley - does he have an unfortunate attraction to Wayne. And to have an 'international referee' wearing the colours of a national team. Says it all.. Difficult to conceive of a less appropriate advert for the sport.

This idiot should never have been allowed to referee another game after his appalling decision to blow the whistle in 2007 after telling Wales they have time... should have lost his job and been stripped of his referee status or demoted to second team referee. Shameful display, if you make a decision on field and give players an answer... you stick to it!... Tosser!

This is my biggest bugbear, 'experts' on the touchlines who think they know better than the ref. I've never reffed but I do appreciate what they do. Some of the abuse is relentless and fails to recognise that outside the professional game, the ref is on his or her own, no video ref and, usually, touch judges supplied by each team so not impartial. On balance they do a great job, sure they miss things, who wouldn't, there is a lot to look out for. The best ref response I witnessed was, 'See me in the bar after the match and we'll discuss the offside laws'. That worked, well it made me laugh. I like to watch my local team, Weston Hornets, play and if I can I video matches and put them on here. When I watch them back, I hear the experts constantly giving the ref advice. Shame, it spoils it for me. Keep up the good work all you refs, some of us appreciate you.
