what time of year did you summit at? looks like july but I am wondering because I plan to make an attempt in june and want to make sure that the berg won't be an issue

Yes, we were there in mid July. As long as they get decent snow this winter, you shouldn't have any problem in June. I recommend reading trip reports on Summit Post or the Highpointers FaceBook page to see what folks are experiencing in the weeks leading up to your attempt.
