My dad grew up here in the 1940s and I have only been once when I was around 7 years old. He grew up on a Christmas tree farm. I wish I knew more. Thank you for the video

This church is once an Islamic mosque during the Ottoman period. When Bulgaria became independent from Ottoman rule in 1878, it became a prison and a military warehouse. A Russian architect by the name of Alexander Nikanorovich Pomerantsev suggested that the former mosque be converted into a church. The building went through changes and only the central hall and the dome remained unchanged. It was inaugurated as a church on 27 July 1903.

Saugerties is the coolest hometown in the USA. With its beautiful spring flowers, gorgeous fall foliage & historical old buildings but now with art galleries, new cafes & the Saugerties Lighthouse, it just gets more beautiful all year. It’s safe, a great place to raise a family and close to other historical towns such as Rhinebeck, Woodstock & Kingston. The people are warm & friendly, too. I’m super proud to call Saugerties the happy place I grew up in.

great video this is exactly how Putnam County is. I drove it at the beginning of January 2023 looking to buy a home unfortunately I chose Orange County to live in, more modern and developed. nothing but woods and trees and hills and narrow roads in putnam that's it, but its beautiful in its own way.
