If anyone (or knows of someone else) who still collects and trades World Hockey Champ, Izvestia and Olympic games from the 70s-80s would contact me? Please let me know? I have a nice list to trade. Thanks. Specifically looking for the French, German Euro broadcasts of international classic games from those eras.

Also looking for Swedish national team games from 76,77,78, and 79. And Finnish Liiga games featuring Tappara circa 75-79 and TPS from 80-83. Thanks.

I remember I wanted the entire 1993 NHL Playoffs and miss only one game, Gm 2 of Calgary-Los Angeles first round series. There was finally ONE person who put that game on his list there. I was able to communicate with him only once and he never responded back again. So close yet so far to have the entire 1993 Playoffs. This game is rare for some reasons.

@10:11, what, in the world, are those HUGE structures in the distance from the mall??? Just look at how big they are, compared to the already, big size of the mall!!! Does anybody know?

Those people were lucky to have such big ole fat, roomy cars, and who cared about gas cost, at just pennies on the dollar?

6:45 Notice the vehicles gathered around the mall during construction. 90% of them are passenger cars, whereas nowadays, construction workers pretty much all drive pickup trucks. Also make note of the temporary ramp that they built to get equipment up onto the roof.

What a character, loved to watch Gump play. I remember one night, somebody - I forget who - got a breakaway on him but tripped on the way. Gump dropped down with his pad and kept the player from crashing into the immovable iron posts they had at the time. The comment in the paper the next day was something like "the best save Gump made last night was so-and-so's head".

ALL of us know what and who killed the Malls! It’s the SAME group that wants reparations because they have sat on their rear ends for over 160 years doing nothing but complaining. The violence this group brings to anywhere they are at says it all! 🙈🙊🙉🙊🙈🙊🙉🙊🙈🙊🙉🙊😂

Malls are dying not only because of internet shopping but the plan of de socializing society to make humans less interactive with each other. Less face to face conversations, not having to deal with the reality (seeing homeless people, poverty, people aho appear to be distasteful to the wealthy snobs). Then more strip malls, urban development, condos, parking lots take over and create environmental problems. Malls were the catalyst for meeting new people, interaction, seeing the different peoples, different shops.

I’m an 80’s baby but ever since I was little I’ve been obsessed with the 40’s and 50’s and I never really understood why. I’ve spent a considerable amount of years researching it all, watching Leave It To Beaver and Father Knows Best as well as listening to FDR Fireside Chats. I can recall always feeling connected to people born in that time frame and while I know it may be absurd to think I could have possibly lived in that life before, I can’t help but wonder why I’m like this. As for the video I never expected it to be actual footage but rather photos. I’m surprised and overjoyed all at the same time. Sorry for the rhetoric but I had to comment on it. Great video!

I am old enough to remember the 50's. And yes, people did dress up in those days, right down to the Barbie doll high heels. However, there is something to be said for women losing those, along with the girdles and nylon stockings. My god, they were uncomfortable! We had to wear dresses to school, right through our senior year. I remember when pantyhose came on the scene and what a giant step forward that was for us.

Oh man, I'm glad I stumbled across this video!!!! I don't remember why I wasn't there that night, but I saw SO many familiar faces! I wonder whatever happened to Rose. I'm still in touch with Mark, the guy in the dark green shirt she was dancing with. The doorman, Tony, used to let me bring my big bottle of water inside because once I got there I hardly left the dance floor! In fact, right at the end you have a great shot of the pole where I used to hang out - all the dance buddies knew they'd find me there! Thanks for the great memories!
