Used to headline at the Inn Square Men's Bar talent show on Sundays in Inman Square. Mid Seventies . Always flanked by Danny Klein, bass player for J Geils band. We had some good jams!

Back in the late 1980s into the early 1990s, I saw Luther and his band play a bunch of gigs in the SF Bay Area. He was a regular at Larry Blake's in Berkeley, and I saw him at blues festivals in Oakland and Marin County. He was very approachable and a really nice guy.
