  Did you test this once and post a review? You should test a product for at least a month before posting a review. The app is horrible and stopped working after a week. Just look at the reviews in the Apple store. Just bought this product based on your review. Looks like I'm stuck with a $400 paper weight. You should do a how to video on how to get the app to work once it stops. So far no customer support either.

  I can confirm that the Microbypass works on the newer Alpine iLx-F509. I had trouble finding any confirmation for the newer units prior to my install.

  uh huh. NOT a BYPASS, Just a way to use cheaper keys. BUT if you DON'T have a key WITH the chip this video doesn't help you. Same as when the Smart Key components failed THIS video won't help you with that either. This IS a nicely done video on how to let you use cheap metal replacement keys BUT of course bypassing the KEY security DOES mean your car WILL be easy to break into with JUST a screwdriver. Just like in the old days.

  So what happens when the car thieves unplug it. Does it shut off immediately? Why would it be visible in plain site for the thieves to pull out.

  A. PROGRAMMING TRANSMITTER: Note: This mode will only retain the last 4 remote transmitters programmed. If the transmitter memory is exceeded, the security system will start deleting transmitters from memory in chronological order. 1. Turn the Ignition 'switch 'OFF/ON' 3 TIMES and stay in ON position. Within 15 seconds. 2. Push the Valet switch 3 times and holding in on 3rd push until a long chirp is heard then release the valet switch. You are now in the Transmitter programming mode. 3. Press and hold any button of the transmitter until the siren responds with a confirming chirp, indicating the signal has been stored into memory. 4. If you have additional transmitters (up to 4) that need to be programmed, repeat step 3 for each

  How did you manage to open up the key? My spare Peugeot 107 key has no buttons. This spare key has no screws to unscrew unfortunately. I'm trying to open up the case by using a prying tool (used for IT) that looks like a guitar chip), but I can only do that 'temporarily'. Like it doesn't want to open up completely. It closes back right when I try to slide all the way around the key. Do you have tips for me?

  I'm so glad this video is out because I wired some stuff up to the power antenna wire because I didn't want to add too much drain on the amp turn on wire because I got several amps. Then I started to think about it a day later and realized that it probably turns off and on with the FM radio.. sure enough this video reassured my second thoughts. Good thing I watch this video before installing all my wires in the dash. Now I can fix it. Thx

  $367? Damn! That's $200 more than what it should be! I can get a 15" monitor for $65 -$80, a fire stick for $40 and a under cabinet vesa mount for $20-$30. Looks nice but I think I'll spend my money elsewhere! Thanks for sharing though!

  I have the exact same head unit and it doesnt have a bluetooth pairing option. It has the IheartRadio and all but not an option for bluetooth pairing. Dont get it. Literally same exact head unit.

  thanx for an informative video! i was hoping for an explanation of the function of all the wires on the satellite relay box. i will peruse your other videos to see if it's there somewhere. also anyone reading this, any help would be welcome. i'm working on a custom car where the remote start equipment is being used for something else and knowing the function of these wires would be the clue i would need.

  I just watched this. Great video. You mentioned within the video that you have done several videos about using relays. And I believe you mentioned videos specifically for wiring a relay to power multiple amps with the remote turn-on wire from your head unit. I'm having a hard time finding this video, if it does exist. Thanks.

  Bought this for my dual radiator fan set up on my classic car. That way both fans don't surge amps at the same time during fan start.

  It’s a simple and cheap Bluetooth deck, which is what I was looking for. But the thing that absolutely drives me mental is, as soon as there’s the slightest bit of sun, you can’t see a dang thing. You have to completely cup your hands around the deck and look into your hands like binoculars. So basically, unusable while driving. I have dimmer turned off and all zones turned up to level 3 for brightness. Is there ANYTHING I can do?
