    Great video guys.. I don't know if you guys do or not. Maybe you know this maybe you don't. I use to catch shrimp by the netfulls. As much as I want. What I used to do is find dry spot preferably a dock rock outcropping where the water came right up to it. What I would do then is put a lantern out over the water. Of course you do this at night. The light draws the them in and then you will see all their eyes. But the main thing is the light will attract them and big ones too. Never even have to step into the water. In just a few hours I would fill a live bait tank up with them. Just a tip in case you don't know about it. Thanks for the video...thanks never knew anyone to shrimp the way you folks do...Very nice.

    I would have let the giant go and kept the just over legal, there reason why there are so few giants, is because they get removed and eaten, so only the smaller males get to breed, losing the giant gene.

  • @Trojwaterman
    @Trojwaterman5 күн бұрын

    Its because all the small ones are taken that we see fewer big ones not the genes. They can grow a lot bigger than this. That's why we put the smaller legal ones back to give them a chance to grow.

    well we call the crayfish in California spiny Lobster and they're good especially when you get them at that size. I prefer a 3 lb or 4 lb Lobster any day with one and a half or two pounder and it's not mature enough the meat tastes better on a little bit older Lobster I think and I'm the type of person that likes to eat the entire Lobster from head to tail same thing with crabs I like you know the whole experience and those were beautiful crabs
