A mate of mine had just recieved delivery of his new Desmosedici when I went to collect his old bike that I had just bought off him. He let me sit on it and start it up, he even offered me a go on it, which I declined. We had a long chat about it over a coffee. What he didn't know was that the 15K big service included checking/replacing the titanium valves, they need to come out to do this. This may be why you never see them cover many miles.

Bâtiment au service actif en décembre 1979, 139 m de long, 14 m de large. 228 hommes d'équipage. 2 turbines à gaz 50 000 chevaux vitesse 30 nœuds. Une propulsion diesel 10 000 chevaux vitesse 21 nœuds. j'en étais le barreur bosco de 1992 à 1995. J'en ai de bon souvenir.

Video bellissimo. Avete fatto bene a mostrare i capolavori di Canova, Appiani, Wicar. Però non avete mostrato un capolavoro eccezionale: l'entrata di Alessandro Magno in Babilonia, opera di Thorvaldsen. Questa opera era destinata a Napoleone l che però non poté acquistarla perché sconfitto a Lipsia e mandato in esilio all'Elba. Si tratta di un bassorilievo di dimensioni imponenti che replica un fregio in stucco del Palazzo del Quirinale a Roma sempre commissionato da Napoleone . È un'opera importantissima, un capolavoro di Thorvaldsen.
