    I just got a motorcycle and a full face helmet. I use strap on my glasses so to put my helmet on I have to take off the straps, the glasses, put on helmet and then shimmy the glasses into the helmet, and vice versa. So annoying! Just a couple days and I’m tired of that already. Decided to look for flip up helmets and glasses on KZread to see if anything popped up, and lo and behold, this brilliance comes ip

    It's nice to have a the front brake almost as as powerful as the back now. I think I might need 220mm to be equal.

    Braking really hard on the front makes the rear useless. It might be too much.

    So what part of the ninety degrees bent section should line up with the zero line of the ruler? The top edge of the spoke, the middle of the spoke or the bottom edge of the spoke?

    Nice concept. I have a Suzuki DR650 that I ordered the Seat Concepts seat cover and foam for and the foam is rock hard... I don't think your butt goes numb from the sides of edges or the seat being too hard it's the middle where your tailbone rides that gets you after a while. I think I'll try your concept and see if it improves things. Thanks for the video.

    It will be interesting to hear the details about the accident, what I saw is that you travelled back to take care of the injury?. It looks very tempting to go and live in Paraguay for as long as they allowed and tour in a cheap bike, but having an accident and getting medical help maybe not worth it. I enjoyed very much your tour narrative, thx.

    So much like u i also bought 203 mm rotor and corresponding bracket to replace my 160 mm rotor in the front. But now im hesitating to do the install bc the internet is telling me its a really bad idea to do with QR skewer front wheel as the wheel will get ripped out of the drop outs bc of the increased leverage. another thing is that the fork itself might get ripped apart where the IS mounts are, unless the fork is rated for a 203mm disc, which my fork is certainly not (cheap bike). my bike is heavy as it is a diy ebike with heavy motor and battery and i could really use some more breaking power. so i have 2 questions: have u noticed any wear inside the eyelets on the fork (IS mounts), where the fork is connected to the adapter/bracket? And does your QR skewer loosen up after a ruff ride wit lots of braking?

  • @bikefzx2132
    @bikefzx2132 Жыл бұрын

    It’s fine. The internet is dumb. Make sure the QR is properly installed - pros had always used QRs and never had a problem. It’s only for morons who don’t know how to properly tighten a QR.

  • @bikefzx2132
    @bikefzx2132 Жыл бұрын

    And there have been zero problems. With anything. Never ever in life has anyone had a QR “loosen up” if properly installed.

    My Kia Sedona is a 2007. Very same process. So easy a girl can do it. It is also nice to see a video where the narrator knows the difference between a nut and bolt. I see so many vids where people call a bolt a screw, and nut a bolt, and a stud a screw, and all kinds of incorrect names. Good job. I'm doing mine for camping and all I want is one seat in the back for relaxation, computer work, etc. The large seat area makes a good trunk with a lid for great storage.

    Doing the same thing on the same bike that I use for bike polo. I generate quite a bit of heat with it being the only brake, on the front and me weighing in at 293. Cool to see what the bike looks like stock. Found mine as a frame only and gave it a new life on the Polo court.

Last time the lever to move the seat on the rails wouldn't line up for some reason and the seat wouldn't move after setting it down.

    I run a 203 front and rear as well to clear a motorized bike sprocket. It honestly depends on your riding style if it is good or bad. I have both linked by a single brake lever and set the rear pull just a hair behind the front and it has worked very well for me
