  It will take over your pond in no time. It's roots are like veins all over the floor of the pond. Terrible plant 🪴. I think birds drop it in my pond. I been try to kill it for two years now. Even been pulling it out by hand by boat. Hate this plant. Spread like wildfire.

  Gorse can be used to make tea all you need to do is harvest the yellow flowers petals and eather use straight away in hot water or allow to dry then add hot water for a tasty wintertime beverage

  Paul I agree. Being a British army veteran I've got a fondness for this bush. After multiple training exercises of me kneeling and sit on it (in the dark) without knowing isn't the best experience but I've grown to appreciate it and I'd never think to try and kill it off. Some people nowadays 😳

  @@gerthinatorgaming5952 that's true. Because almost any plant can act as a weed in the right conditions. I love my native California poppy but in places like Australia, Chile, and parts of Europe it is an invasive weed that is poisonous to livestock and threatens rangeland.

  I want some dried straw of non native Phragmites karka [ common reeds ] it is non shining and soft cane. I like to use making music instruments reeds, like shehnai reeds. where from I can buy dried straw or alive root to grow in pot. thanks
