@@TCraigGoldy I saw you in 1987 with Dio in Columbus with Megadeth and Savatage. You were amazing. But before that, when I first heard the solo for I Could've Been a Dreamer I couldn't figure out what in the world you were doing. I heard some arpeggio action and such. But damn it was such an AMAZING solo. Not to blow your head up, but you're by far the best guitarist for Dio and my top 3 faves of all time.

@@mountbrocken Wow!! Thank you for that!! It's surreal to get compliments like this cause I'm still just a fan! A fan that got into the band! Thank you for the nice things about that solo. Learning Ritchie Blackmore solos all my life, his "tounge twister" patterns kinda rubbed off. At first his pattern could be like: Da da da da da.....da da....da da But it's really: "Sally sold seashells by the seashore" Not knowingly I think I might do similar things in my solos! At least I hope so! Thank you very much!! I hope 2024 is being kind to you!!

@@TCraigGoldy well I suppose it was the age I heard the solo. I was just getting into guitar and was an avid metal fan. But it still blows me away. You are probably overly modest and in interviews I noticed you're super down to earth. But you have a talent and a skill unmatched by most. As far as 2024 it isn't too bad. I've been finishing up my doctorate and teach philosophy in college. But I would much prefer to be a rock star ;). I play in a band and write music because I can't help it. But thank you so much for the years of music you've given to the fans. It means a lot!
