How much sandpaper do you use to sand before using the primer? What kind of brush is that you use at minute 4:20? I've seen it in tutorials but I don't know where to find it. thanks

  • @MonacoMiniatures

The sand paper I use before primer is always 3000 from tamiya, it gives a smooth surface and the pencil wad the tiniest from the hobby shop but you can find them with revell

The paint work is beautiful and it's a great build. So just a heads up, those 2 cylinder things on the back wall are the electric fuel pumps which should feed fuel from the storage tanks on both sides of the cockpit to the throttle bodies. Those rectangles with vents standing up on each side of the engine are oil coolers that run from the sump in the oil pan to an oil storage tank in the front of the car. The braided line you have going from the left oil cooler to the fuel pump should go down to the deck plate under the oil cooler, and you should have a line from the fuel pumps running to the throttle bodies. It took a while for me to figure out what those were on the back wall.

@@MonacoMiniatures Hopefully it didn't come off as rude, rivet counter, or know it all. I just meant it as helpful info as I had a heck of a time figuring out what the fuel pumps were. I ended up joining a 1:1 GT 40 forum site to ask those guys.

Wow, nicely done. The detail parts set makes such a difference for this kit. Rreally like what you have done here. Only critique is some of your cuts are so fast that I can barely see what is going on. Since a lot of it is sped up, when you have a quick cut it is even harder to catch what you have done. Oh, and I can barely hear the background music. I know music is super subjective to how it is used in videos but if you have it there, then it is good to be able to hear it at least a little bit. Otherwise, I love what you are doing here!!!!
