The direction of the antenna is rotated, this is a mistake at the beginning of the first installation or something else. It would be strange if there was an error in the direction of the antenna and it was corrected later

Why don't people in this job use a parachute for emergencies? There is always a possibility of falling!
@Im_With_Stupid8 күн бұрын
Because if you fall off the tower it won't have enough room to open and there's way too many opportunities for it to open accidentally, which could be catastrophic in a thousand different ways. Other than that, these guys aren't sitting in an airplane seat and then jumping out into open air, wearing their chutes for about 20 minutes maybe once a month. They're going to be wearing it for 10-12 hours a day/6 days per week in an environment that's full of cramped spaces, sharp corners and edges, rain, dirt and chemical residues (diesel fuel). They would have to be constantly inspected, maintained and replaced and the cost would be outrageous for something that's infinitely more likely to get someone killed than it is to work if you need it to.

I know nothing so take it easy on me please... Why are those sections so small? Other tower building videos install much larger sections of the antenna per heli lift. Why can't you pre fabricate multiple sections on the ground and lift them up say 3 or so at a time?
@Im_With_Stupid3 ай бұрын
That's just a base for the antenna. Some of them have a short section like that so they can do exactly what they're doing here.

Depends on the regulations governing the work being done and the locale. We wouldn't work there anyway, because likely Luas Electric had a hand in the construction, and we wouldn't want any of your weak assed tea.
