  Look ive owned a 500 dollar lucasi and shot with several mcdermott g series cues and i love them dont get me wrong. my dad walked into a pawn shop the other day that has a huge pool cue selection and just bought me a 150 dollar action cue and i was shooting with it on a regulation table at our local neighborhood clubhouse and its a damn good shooting stick i was blown away by how straight this cue shoots.

  All garbage. Pls just buy a used cue. Even a Meucci , joss, or McDermott would be a better playing cue. And there is probably a local cue maker that will make you a custom sneaky Pete for around 200. This will likely be your best cue for the price.

  I totally disagree that the Cuetec cheapie is a garbage cue. It's basically the same cue that Strickland ran 11 - 9 ball racks with. Allison Fisher dominated the women's with her slightly modified cheapie cuetec. Unfortunately, Cuetec doesn't make those $120 cues anymore. They make the Avid line which are $200 and up.

  @CoffeeBuzzz33 I don't know about Allison but Strickland famously used a different shaft on a cuetech butt. But if you like the way they hit then they are a great cue for you. At the 200 price point you should only be worried about how it hits the balls for you.
