The flying scenes were superb in the second top gun, but the characters weren't nearly as likeable as the ones in the first. It's almost 40 years since Top Gun debuted and people still quote lines from that movie...5 years from now, not one single line will be quoted from the 2nd movie. Not knocking 2, it just had just a tall mountain to climb to even be remotely as good as 1. They did about as good as could be expected. BTW...that target could have easily been destroyed by stealth fighters or Tomahawk missiles, so the whole premise of the mission was suspect from the get-go.

Transcript Excerpt: Dragon - The Bruce Lee Story (1993 - Movie) [NOTE: Video clips of this movie scene was censored off of USA internet and KZread; no longer easy to find] ... (BABIES CRYING) (INDISTINCT TALKING) (SPEAKING CANTONESE) No. Do you speak English? Yeah. I'm practicing my English. Going to America. I've always wanted to go to America. James Dean. French fries. The sky's the limit, that's what they say. Not a Chinaman's chance. They say that too. You ever hear that? No. You know, the Chinese, we built the rail roads there. The Americans, the _gwailo,_ would lower chinamen over the cliff in baskets to set the dynamite. Get pulled up too slow, BANG! Rope break. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. Americans say, "Not a Chinaman's chance, and round-eyed _gwailo_ would laugh. We're not human to them. How do you know? I'm a history teacher. Things are different now. It's today. Sure, sure. Maybe. I'm different. Sure. Sure. I am. You'll see. ■ 👆 the most unforgettable part of this movie here which shocked me because I never knew what that expression meant before or its basis ■

Any of you "brave" officers going to speak out on behalf of the Gold Star father Biden had arrested and charged? Didn't Biden and Harris run on and I directly quote " unrest is the language of the unheard"? Seems hypocritical to then have someone who was legitimately protesting someone whose incompetence and malfeasance was directly responsible for the death of their child and 12 other enlisted service members. I won't hold my breath because a brief glance at your channel and guests indicates a radical far-left ideology is your position so I doubt you will speak out in support of this grieving father which is the typical cowardly behavior expected from modern military officers. Shame on Biden, and shame on Lloyd Austin and Mark Milley deserves to be court martial for treason and shame upon all of you who support the Biden regime.

Was General Butler's testimony transcribed or does a summary of that testimony exist? Also, how do we know Prescott Bush was involved in what John McGuire and possibly M.P. Murphy were asking General Butler to do? Thanks.

I'm late to this but I'm from the US and have been living and working China since '15. This is the history that needs to be better known now more than ever. Part of my work with HS students who will go abroad to the US helps to bridge that gap and I hope that more US students will come the other way, no matter the 'mirage' perception that persists due to the heavily ignorant and propagandized US public and their warped image of China.

My granddad was a balloonist in WWI. My parents both served in the Navy. They flew small engines as a hobby. It's how they met. My uncle was a test pilot just before the Space program got started. I loved the Top Gun movies. I have great admiration for our servicemen and women

My late father served under General Smith in Korea, Inchon and Chosin. He said rather simply, “He saved us.” Were General Smith not my Dads leader, I may well not be here. My wife and I have visited his grave to thank him personally. Thank you Ms. Shisler.
