  0:12 - complete newbie here - what did you do that adds the reverb effect (I'm not even sure if I'm using the right terminology). I want to make sure I buy the right equipment (first time buyer). If I could just play from 0:14 to 0:47 and never accomplish anything else with a guitar in my life I would die a happy man.

  A little over a year ago, I performed at my school's talent show, and this song was in the setlist. I would like to say thank you for posting guitar tutorials, especially this video. My classmates really liked the show, and a video is posted on my channel if anyone is interested. If you are currently watching this tutorial, I wish you luck. It took me an HOUR to learn a one minute song! It is not easy, but if I can do it, you can too.
