We are Ron and Jodi. Since 1992 we've been traveling and exploring around the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Join us as we go rambling around our next 30 years while living our “work hard, play hard” philosophy. We will try to show as much of our adventures, tips and reviews while we practice for retirement.
This channel will be about adventures big and small, weekend getaways traveling in the motorhome exploring our region to flying away on extended vacations discovering new destinations. We hope to inspire others to make time to travel, explore and discover what our land has to offer.
Climbing this steep learning curve, we are excited to learn how to shoot video, edit and upload for all to see. Not every video will be an award winner but all we need is someone to laugh and enjoy the ride along the way.

What a fun video! It was awesome to see a few stops that we didn’t get to visit while we were there for two weeks. Cape Flattery looks absolutely gorgeous! That’s definitely going to be a must see the next time we are out on the Olympic Peninsula! We actually went to just about every beach but second beach. South Beach, Beach 1, beach 3, beach 4, Kalaloch beach, Ruby Beach, and we did go to Rialto Beach and venture out to the hole in the wall. That was a pretty strenuous hike! 🤪 We found that crocs were a great shoe to wear while tide pooling. They help grip the rocks if you’re scrambling as well. 😉 Your two little pups are so precious! What lovely little traveling companions. ❤❤ And that fry bread looks amazing! Another must do stop next time we are out there! Thanks for sharing such a fun video - I really loved that area. 🥰

Jim said "NICE TRANSITION" out loud at 2:06! Gorgeous drone work and what stunning views. We said "Oh Wow" just as you were saying it on the hike opening out on the beach! LOL. Good to know, rain boots. Thank goodness for discreet channels. Hahahaha! The loggers memorial was interesting. Now I'm hungry. They are all about Twilight. hmmm. not our thing. I mean, vampires suck. 🤣Good to know about the area though. Mostly rocks on that beach, probably need water shoes for sure if swimming. -Michelle

Ohh wow!! We actually were not able to fit Second Beach in on our visit. I can see that was a huge mistake 😮 What a beautiful trail and beach! The beaches along that stretch are just gorgeous with the sea stacks. Olympic is definitely a very diverse park. I absolutely loved seeing all the sights on your trip!

I was hooked when you talked about hiking from the forest to the beach - sounds incredible! Great tip about wearing the rain boots so you can look at tidepools. That burger with the fry bread bun looked amazing.

We love magical rainforests! This is def on our list of spots to check out. Have you also explored Boondocking spots there? Such a great idea to do a KZread meetup at a harvest host!
Such a lovely place, I love the drone shots that exposed beautiful hills around the river. A nice walk in the end, everything is so green and lush. Nice to see you just hanging out and having fun with other travellers :)

Quick question about your comment at the end when you mention booking directly through Holland America so you can earn points (versus booking through Costco for a good deal). Can you expand on what you mean by “earning points”, please and what the disadvantage would be by booking through Costco? Thanks!
I can't imagine how even tastes beer with ice cream... I justs.. breaks my brain 😂Too much beer for me BUT the pizza looks amazing.... Wait! Are you using bear spray to fight agaisnt them? This could possibly be a dumb question but I’m going to ask anyway… when the residential fridge lives it’s life and needs to be replaced, how do you get it out of the coach?
LOL! That is a great question not dumb at all. I think I saw a video one time in which someone literally took it apart took the doors off and took it apart. We luckily got a lifetime warranty so when the time comes it won't be our personal issue to resolve and can't wait to see how it is done. 😊 We really appreciate you watching and asking your question hope your a Rambler and we see you again we greatly appreciate the support!

We’ve watched all of your videos for this cruise and love them! I was trying to figure out what month y’all went on this cruise. We are planning on going September 2025 on this ship.
Wr went in July the 2nd week. September should still be nice you will always have a chance of rain any month so still pack for rain just in case earlier September better. The next time we go we have actually talked about September off season is always nice and quiet but keep.in mind I did watch one video and a few things in town were closed but as long as the cruise offer excursions you know yoir fine. You may see a few less wildlife whales start to make the way back to Hawaii I think pretty close to September so do some.researxh but we love going places in September when everyone is back to school and it's not as busy. Yoir going to love Alaska it is so beautiful. Thank you for watching and commenting don't hesitate with any further questions. No way!!! The Simpsons are from Oregon??? Lol We actually only recently found that out. Lol We've been hige Simpsons fans and the boys and I used to always come up with our own conclusions about which Springfield they were from, but were Totally wrong! Lol When we last visited Simpsons Land at Universal Studios in Florida, we were trying to get clues as well! Lol Wow! Those murals are Awesome!! Lol...love Otto who Loves to get Blotto!!!
