  You’re correct that is NOT right. I’m just an apprentice and I know youre not supposed to splice into 12 gauge wire, it has way too many volts for that. But I doubt the amigos are even insured. So if they burn buddies house down (which is now a ticking timebomb) buddy will have to pay for the amigos mistakes

  Right it looked like his plumbing was pex piping too. That’s the easiest stuff to work on, with a simple tool that clamps the pipes. I done my house in CPVC. Over half the price of copper, but won’t blow apart like PEX when hot water is ran through for awhile

  These type of 'amigos' are worthless and will cause more problems than they fix. It's also kind of despicable that people use them because they usually work for cash and don't pay taxes. Start learning so you can do it yourself; you'll be much better off.

  Having amigos in your life isn’t about cheap labor. When you have friends from other ethnicities different from your own you have an opportunity to learn about other cultures, you widen your horizons. This is a great way of consuming new information and viewing things differently. And, knowing about other cultures makes you open-minded. You'll have an easy time respecting and accepting their differences. When you surround yourself only around people who look like you -you close yourself off from the beauty of the world around you.

Besides, when you delve deep enough into cultures (any), you begin to realize that people that hold their culture(s) near and dear, really dont gaf about anyone elses culture, and the more you care about so.eone elses culture, the more you lose of your own. No thank you. I understand many cultures, and most are cheap labor, cramped living conditions, crime, and a lot of other wonderful things that i dont want in my area, thank you.

  ⁠​⁠@@IFixStufff you don’t have to lose your own culture just because you appreciate someone else’s. That’s the equivalent of saying if you learn something new you’ll forget something you already know. There will always be negative things in other people’s cultures you can focus on just like there are negative things in your own culture, but if you only focus on the negative side of another culture you’re only robbing yourself of all the positive and beautiful things in other cultures. I’m sure you can appreciate tacos and beautiful Latin women.

  I used taking that Star Ferry boat back and forth several times just for fun in 1969 before heading back to USA . Then again in 1989 and the early 90's . That was one of the fun things over there beside walking along with the locals in Tsim Sha Tsui , You Ma Day and Mongkok . I also enjoyed such walk from Star Ferry along the Ma Tau Wai Road to the Sung Emperor Stone Garden . ❤ love it 👍🏻. 😎☕️🍰🍫 🍜🍛🍚🥢 🇮🇹🇺🇸

  Profitability is not a measure of success in China. They are much more focused on the benefits of easily assessable transportation for their citizens and the overall economic benefits from having easily accessible transportation. All train tickets on the high speed rails are very affordable at fractions of the cost of airfares. Most government services are not profitable but they still serve a fundamental function in society.
