  When I change my oil every 5000 miles buse of a mechanics lift . I liberally spray all rubber components with 303 Protectant to help them resist drying out and cracking .

  use a smoke leak detector to find the leak. it is very safe and fail proof and does not cause any damage to the engine or to the hoses. search youtube on how to do it.

  I found out the hard way that I had a transmission leak, when it started acting up. Took it to my mechanics house and come to find out, the pan was missing 2 bolts and the others were only finger tight. My poor camry was losing fluid very quickly. He was like who last touched the car...I said the shop in front of toyota. 😢 thankfully he refilled it, put in a new gasket, and new bolts just to be sure. She has been smooth since.

  Changed oil, smog checked. bulbs needed to be replaced. Done. Then the check engine light comes on. Mechanic tells me I need a tune up and suggests I replace all sensors. Am I being scammed?

  If you stab the boot, clean up the puncture and then seal it with an RTV sealant. Super glue won't stick for crap and will come off quickly, anyway, because it isn't flexible. If it sticks temporarily, it'll just tear a bigger hole soon.

  So u disconnect the battery. Then find ab module and disconnect. Then wait about 15 min and plug module back in. Then Reattach battery and check. Is that the right order?
