A good informative video, mate. It was great to see all of your gear, it reminded me of when I used to go camping as a teen with all of the military kit. My missus was impressed by how you effortlessly flung that pack over your shoulders onto your back, ha ha!
That's all i can afford is army surplus lol, what part of Wales are you from fella ? im at Merthyr Tydfil. I used to work on a farm im used to throwing bails of hey tell her haha..
@@outsidertank as long as you're outdoors, and you've got the kit, that's all that matters, mate. I'm an Aberdare boy, born and bred, living in Penderyn now. I'm pretty sure I've seen you around back in the day. Did you used to go to Koolers?
Ahh I drove thru Penderyn this morning. Yes I worked the door there for years. Small world. You have a channel, I'll pop you a sub now. I'll give all your vids a watch this weekend at work ( security ) and like and comment. It all helps don't it .I'll get stuck into um now budd got 12hrs in front of me lol. . . Out
@@outsidertank maybe that's where I know you from. Thank you, mate, much appreciated. I subbed your channel last night, I'll catch up on some videos when I can. I'm stuck in work for 12hrs too. Take it easy, butt!

What a great and informative video. Have you thought about putting all your knowledge and tips/tricks into written form, or at least combined into a downloadable PDF? Would make an excellent basic tutorial for anyone setting out on the wild camping adventure. Thank you again for sharing your experience...every little helps...lol. Well funny you should day that, I don't want give to much away here at the moment, but something happening beginning of October kinda on the teaching side. I'll have to do my best not to swear haha ❤️
Your fishing kit and throwing the bait has given me an idea. Turn one of the dig ball launching sticks into a rod. Can throw the weight and bait a good bit further. Copyright Frank and Tank

Thanks for sharing! This property looks like it´s full of possibilities for you. I´m glad you have permission to be there. It´s true what you have said about doing something outdoors in the rain, bc life ain´t always sunshine and butterflys 😉
I love a rain camp, good practice. what's the worst that can happen.. thank you Torsten.
Great video mucker lush place too
@@stevenrichard7384 nice one big man..
I thought it was kinda odd to see him compliment an awesome steak with American Idaho spuds lol great video and I’m a huge fan of that tarp shelter. Thanks again
Nice one Scott Thanks for watching pal..
Hi Lee great video again mate that steak must have took ages to cook over that stove ?, looked a decent spot you had mate love the water filter, keep up the great work mate. Atb Wullie
Hello Will mate Hope your well ! The steak actually didnt take long at all, thats the advantage with that burner as it has 18 holes. the water filters are great obv you can use a shemagh but these are so simple and super effective. got mine off Amazon dude ok.
Let me know if you ever come to America (Washington DC or Baltimore). I’ve got 117 acres of private land for you to camp on!
I sure will that's very kind thank you..
Nah then, ey up me duck. A question for you fella, what's the difference between celtic salt and your bog standard salt?
Im glad you asked. celtic salt is made up of three different types of magnesium. excellent for hydration and super cool for the ol ticker...out
@@outsidertank Cheers me owd. I had a heart attack last year so I'll have to check it out if it's good for the ticker. I used to use pink himalayan salt. 👍
Great place that,I've had a few issues camping when ever I've cooked pork loins I usually trim off the fat and it's been stolen in the night ,it got to the point that one time I buried it and the bastard still dug it up ,so I do think any animal fats is an absolute present for mr fox or what ever has been brass to come into camp ,so try baiting them trail cameras with some animal fat
Defo baiting next outing Paul. ill take your advice on using fat to. thank you paul.
❤
Great video mate

@@outsidertank thanks top man
Good review thank you. I take it it didn't take 80ml to boil a cup of water, so my question is is it easy to decant unused fuel out of the burner. enjoying your channel. cheers stu
Hello Stu, tbh it is a little tricky but being careful it's doable. It's a case of judging how much fuel you put in initially. I hate waste so I air on the lesser amount to start.
