The reason for the "death" of the Ghanaian movie industry is the $10,000 fee imposed on Nigerian movie producers/directors whenever they want to shoot a movie in Ghana. The Nigerians were bitterly disappointed and felt singularly targetted so they moved out! They now request that Ghanaian actors come to Nigeria to shoot if they are interested in movie parts.

You are deluded, you can do your own thing without mentioning Nigeria, so go do your own thing. Get it into your thick head, 30 million people can't match over 200 million, purge yourself of this delusion and move your life. Nigeria. e government has never invested in the entertainment industry so it's all private hustle Who needs Ghana anyway

Please get your facts right. The only government investment into the Nigerian movie industry was more than 10 years ago by the Jonathan administration and it was nowhere near $6 million, it was about Naira 6 million and it was based on the contribution of the industry to GDP gtowth. The movie industry in Nigeria is driven by private investors.

The inclusion of artists is probably based on economics. If a white person comes to Ghana and makes money, nobody criticizes that, but Ghanaians would criticize anything that involves Nigerians, na wa o😤😤😤.

You see black ppl, only fight against each other, how can Africa be better? Look at the comments. Some of you need to do better with your comments. 2 countries that share boarders, they even marry each others, they can't even have a proper dialogue. How will Africa rise. Africa is not Nigeria. Get together, and do better. Smh😮

We don’t share border with Ghana! There’s 2 countries between Ghana and Nigeria! Probably is cause both countries speak English that made us friends in the first place but clearly that was a big mistake for Nigerians!

If Ghana has 10 USA artists in Ghana and no Nigerian , I th ink that will be a win for them. The bald headed man sounds pained about Nigerian winning to my view. Ghana should know Nigeria do not need their support to grow because the big brothers are global and outer space already, it should be a plus or privilege for ghanian, Nigerian coming to party in their country.
