I think I know where Gog V Magog is. Its simple. Its a direction. גוג 😅ומגוג means ג or cammel followed by ו - staff or walking up mountains then cammel then מ is water then cammel then walking up mountains and cammel again. If you look at the maps you will end up in Iran.

This popped into my feed while I was looking into the Israeli-Gaza conflict. It seems it's really just muslims that have bad luck in the area lol. Here's a fun little quote allegedly from Saladin. “the care of the unbelievers had transformed [it] into a Paradise garden … those accursed ones defended with the lance and sword this city, which they had rebuilt with columns and slabs of marble, where they had founded churches and the palaces of the Templars and the hospitallers … One sees on every side houses as pleasant as their gardens and bright with white marble and columns decorated with leaves, which make them look like living trees” Addendum: Spoken by Saladin, written by his counselor Qadi al-Fadil

I'm not sure what you mean by moved away from it a while ago, if you are referring to the kinds of things I spoke about in class like desire to show off or to fit in then the good news is that your true self never went anywhere and it's waiting for you! Al Aqsa represents The Lady, Asiya Mother of Mose. Followers of Mose are called Mose'lim, Mosa'ic, Musa'lim, Mosa'lman, Muza'im. How do they not understand that Jesus and Muhammad was a Jew, both were Followers of Moses and he believe in God, The Compassionate and Merciful and Just God, the same and only God of Abaraham, Noah, Jacob and Joseph and Issac and Solomon? Jesus taught the Torah to the Syriacs and Muhammad taught the Torah to the Arabs and brought all the Pagans to worship the One and Only God.

Hi I can't tell if you are trying to make fun of me and Judaism so I will assume not. Your last point is somewhat correct that Christianity (not Jesus persay) and Islam served an important purpose to bring the pagan world to monotheism. However Mohammed was most certainly not a jew by Jewish standards. Not anyone who believes in one god is Jewish, I recommend you Google "who is a jew" and see what you find. Also there are many many differences bw Torah and Koran and even more differences bw those two and Christianity. But I certainly understand that there are good Muslims out there and not every Muslim is a terrorist, I hope you are one of the good ones 🙏

@@rabbiavrahamkilstein The chief rabbi at the West wall in Jersalem was who pronounced Muhammad as the messenger of God for the arabic nation so he can turn all the pagans and idol worshippers to One God eho were Arabic speaking and didnt know Hebrew or Armiac. Mohammed himself was brought up on the new testament which he had memorized. Muhammad was special and showed a bit of autism and he could easily memorize Married his wife Khadija , who was Mose'lim Jew, she taught Muhammad the Torah from the first verse to the last and he memorized it. Muhammad was a follower of Jesus and now Mose. And that is why he called himself a Mose'lim/Musa'lim which is the Arabic way of calling yourself a Moza'ic or Mosaic. Muhammad first wife who he was married for 18 yrs was a follower of Mose and she could and read and speak Hebrew and Arabic and her 2nd cousin was the Cheif Rabbi at the Westwall in Jersalem. It was Khadijah eho took Muhammad to Jersalem after Muhammad had a dream of someone beating him and telling him to READ IN THE NAME OF GOD. Mohammad didn't know how to read or write Arabic or Arimac or Hebrew. He learned all three langues in his lifetime and eventually learnt how to write but he was an oral narrator. Qur'an is the Arabic Torah. And Kaabaa'Lah is the 8 pointed/cornered black house in Mecca, The New Jerusalem, where Adam built the first house of God's and that Abaraham rebuilt it. That is now the House of God we pray towards, the first and the last house of God.

Some of your facts are inaccurate but your desire for unity peace and love are very holy and I appreciate that.🙏 There was a famous Jewish philosopher who was also pantheist, his name was spinoza. But we consider him heretical lol. Judaism believes that God is both immenant (within nature as you believe) as well as transcendant, which makes Him beyond the confines of anything natural, and the transcendant is His true essence although the the immenant is the part we can more easily relate to. We also believe that the two are intertwined. I think you should consider it bc it makes more sense in a way. It also explains better how prayer can work and miracles take place etc. The God of the Torah is clearly transcendant. But there is also divinity within us and within nature that we can tap into.

    R. Kilstein, who is the "known" prophet who will anoint the messiah - the King of Israel ? Elijah ? Or some person who becomes a known prophet right before the messiah appears ? i.e some person who becomes a known prophet in our day ?

  • @rabbiavrahamkilstein
    @rabbiavrahamkilstein5 ай бұрын

Hi Interesting question. I assume you are asking about his anointing bc the word mashiach means anointed. Elijah has two jobs, one is clear in the verse at the end Malachi to help the Jewish people reconnect with hashem and be worthy of redemption, that job is mentioned in the rambam. The other is mentioned in the Gemara in eiruvin and other places as an alternative interpretation of the same verse that he is to bear the news that mashiach is coming the next day. Not mentioned that he anoints mashiach. But it could be. As I'm sure you know Malachi was the last prophet so if it wouldn't be Elijah it would require the "return" of prophecy, which is also a possibility

So what I am gathering, there is the possibility that it may be Elijah or it may be someone else becoming a known prophet - should prophecy return. Correct me, if I have misunderstood. Thank you Rabbi for this interesting lecture! BH we can learn Torah with greater freedom today! I don't know if this is interesting, but the traditions of christmas that is not from saturnalia or southern Europe, usually come from the traditions around the celebration of jul (which is what christmas is called in the nordic countries) and folklore of Northern Europe. From the north you get the precursor for santa, jul logs, getting coal if you've been bad, having someone come into your house, this would be the jule goat or the house elf etc. Basically it's all pagan traditions and folklore that got baked into this new religion in order to attract as many as possible to the church. The reason behind the celebration taking place on the 25th is because it's close to the winter solstice, which in its foundation is sun worship, it's topped with the worship of different harvest dieties. This sun worship and many of the traditions around christmas like the evergreen tree gives a connection all the way back to Nimrod, which is where you have another "virgin birth" according to some sources. It's kind of interesting to see how nothing is new, everything is repackaged with new names. It's also evident how different Torah is from all of this, which I think is the most interesting. Again thank you of for the work that you do Rabbi.

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, gather together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn 🔥 them: but gather the wheat into My barn Ezekiel 28:25 speaks of Who will dwell in the land given to Jacob and its Obviously not The Political created “State of Israel 🇮🇱” who is a terrible witness to the heathen around them. Hello sir I did not really understand what you were saying, I did pick up on you stating Abraham AS Which is a prophet of God Which all 3 main religions; Islam, Christian’s and Jews believe in (God) said, "I am appointing you an imam for the people." He said, "And also my descendants?" He said, "My covenant does not include the transgressors." And when Abraham was tested by His Lord with certain words and he fulfilled them, He said: I have appointed you as a leader for the nation. Al-Baqarah (The Cow) 2:124 *Firstly, God said, to Abraham AS I have appointed you as a leader for the nation. God is talking to Abraham AS which is a prophet… WHERE DO YOUS GET THE IDEA THAT YOUS ARE THE LEADERS OF THE NATION, THE CHOSEN ONES??? And before you respond remember When Abraham AS asked and said: And also my descendants?"God said, "My covenant does not include the transgressors." Do YOUS classify as the transgressors ? Now as I said I couldn’t really understand what you were saying so I opened the transcript to try to really understand what you were preaching I’ve pin pointed some that I thought were extremely disturbing 35:10 on the land of Israel as long as it's empty, when the land of Israel is going to be empty then you're going to have a strong God 35:17 going to be a lushous land 35:25 obviously is the time that that they don't have a stronghold so they have to really get the hell out of here * when the land of Israel is going to be empty then you're going to have a strong God ? So is this the reason for what’s happening in Gaza ? Oh wait the answer is in your following sentences Where you said “ so they have to really get the hell out of here “ 34:33 when we came in 1948 so they like the agricultural World experts World * when we came in 1948? So you do admit that you “came” to Palestine and took their land actually the correct word is “STRIPED” the Palestinians from their land 38:24 is the idea of Amalek something that just needs to be destroyed okay 38:29 that there some things that they just that some parts of us some like we need to understand that there's there's evil 38:35 in the world that just needs to be just obliterated okay *Recent comments by prime minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu in which he calls the Palestinian people Amalek/Amalekites and uses genocidal language to describe what he wants to do to them. So I looked up exactly what that word Amalek means from your books 1 SAMUEL CHAPTER 15 This is another one of those passages that is quite uncomfortable to read- God instructing the Israelites to kill every man, woman, child, infant, and animal of a particular group. * Other commentaries, such as HCSB, also point out that this particular command is reserved for a small number of passages, “This passage is one of a handful in the OT where God explicitly ordered the Israelites to eliminate an entire population (see also Deut 7:2; 13:15; 20:16-17; 25:19).” In summary, God ordered the violent elimination of the Amalekites and certain other social groups for two main reasons: as a punishment for the accumulated sins of those societies…and the elimination of their influence on other societies…” * your God explicitly ordered the Israelites to eliminate an entire population You and your prime minister are referring to exactly that for the Palestinians in Gaza 38:24 is the idea of Amalek something that just needs to be destroyed okay 38:35 in the world that just needs to be just obliterated okay 38:40 the symbolism of the mitzvah okay just to destroy evil okay so 38:46 Amalek Amalek needs to be destroyed
Amalek is is the epitome of evil okay um so that's 38:53 why there's no room for when it comes to Amalek there's no there's no having compassion they are just the essence of evil and that there's no fixing them Amalek is atheist okay
Hitler was atheist * essence of evil and that there's no fixing them? You are contradicting yourself !! YOUS ARE THE OPPRESSORS, and it’s in your hands to “fix them” just give them their GOD GIVEN RIGHTS LIKE EVERYONE ELSE! 39:27 so if you're circumcision the amalek is atheist that represented the first part 39:34 the part that just needs to be thrown away okay but even when thrown away your atheism, you have God so you 39:41 have Direction but that explains the second part represents a whole new 39:48 part of Judaism which is which is equally as important and that’s 39:54 the part that you don't throw it out it's part of you but it needs to be 40:00 refined needs to be refined okay and and this is where this is where the Judaism * 39:27 so if you're circumcision the amalek is atheist? Now you’re stating that a male genital organ is also Amalek and atheist? Wow, I’m sure the atheist would be really offended by that! But what I found extremely disturbing that you’re attributing the male genital organ in description while mentioning God! VERY INAPPROPRIATE and DISRESPECTFUL! 41:31 their circumcision is empty because it's very nice that you threw away your atheism (circumcision) it's very nice that you have God 50:06 in Judaism you're not allowed to take revenge okay it's against the Torah, in the Quran it's it's a thing no * in the Quran it's it's a thing no? EXCUSE ME, stick to your scriptures There’s NO NEED TO DISRESPECT, INSULT and make FALSE CLAIMS JUST TO MAKE YOUR SCRIPTURES LOOK and SOUND BETTER! You also disrespected and insulted my prophet a number of times but I will NOT INSULT YOU OR YOUR SCRIPTURES BECAUSE I AM A MUSLIM, and I will not LOWER MYSELF DOWN TO YOUR LEVEL, I have MORALS and believe that all SCRIPTURES are HOLY to each individual religion, like my HOLY Quran teaches me, YOU HAVE YOUR OWN RELIGION AND I HAVE MINE 50:29 and in Judaism there is a Prohibition of taking Revenge 50:34 so the Revenge has to really be taken really out of our (lexicon) and this is really Perfection and the refinement of that we need to be really reclaiming right now to show the world that what truth looks like, that it necessitates, 50:58 that we're going to obliterate evil we're going to obliterate anybody that represents evil and anybody that supports evil * 50:29 and in Judaism there is a Prohibition of taking Revenge? Yes, yes you are correct, then please explain what is happening in Gaza then? *50:34 this is really Perfection and the refinement of that we need to be really reclaiming “right now to show the world that what truth looks like”? Oh the WHOLE WORLD DOES SEE WHAT “YOUR TRUTH LOOKS LIKE”IN GAZA * 50:58 that we're going to “obliterate” evil we're going to obliterate anybody that represents evil and anybody that supports evil????? OMG 👏 👏 👏 Thank you for explicitly describing in details to us your tactics, but your too late because the WHOLE WORLD KNOWS EXACTLY HOW YOUS OPERATE, YOUR PROPAGANDA is OLD AND BORING 🥱 51:04 “we actually don't want to kill innocent babies okay” the world needs to know we're not looking for “Revenge” we're just looking to “get rid of evil” and this is what Judaism represents * 51:04 “we actually don't wan to kill innocent babies okay” ???? 🤯 you really got me on this one! IM SPEECHLESS 😶

Now I see that YOUR intelligence level is lower than your scriptures because you did not UNDERSTAND my response which was quite understandable! But I’ll rephrase it for you so you will understand it … My MORALITY will not ALLOW ME TO BELIEVE IN SUCH SCRIPTURES Definition of morality; principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad! 109. Al-Kaafiroon ("The Disbelievers") In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful! Say: "Disbelievers! I do not worship what you worship nor do you worship what I worship. I shall never worship what you worship You have your own religion and I have mine."

nowhere in the torah or by israelis does it say that islam or palestinians should be wiped out by judaism. but can you guess what hamas' charter states? that israel will exist until islam wipes it from the map. that is why this war his happening. because of the religious ideals of fanatic muslims. because islamic countries cannot have a separation of religion from government. every muslim that claims the right to go to war in the name of jihad should realize that if they are not from saudi arabia then their ancient ancestors were not muslim and are victims of jihad themselves, and were forced or coerced into conversion under penalty of death. they follow a religion brainwashed unto them by their brainwashed fathers and forefathers. their reasons to follow a murderous religion was out of fear of being murdered! ISLAM IS AN OPPRESSIVE RELIGION THAT HAS SPREAD ACROSS THE WORLD BY THE BLADE OF THE SWORD and its followers that continue to perverse and twist its meanings to justify more suicide bombings, more female oppression, more mutilation of the lgbtq community, and extremely zealous and aggressive xenophobia MUST BE STOPPED.

So I guess if hypothetically you’re end of times roles were switched that you would be their enemy and that they would rush things along which seems to be gods job and you’re living OK right now what’s a few more days on earth By the way does the Torah say it’s OK to be homosexual asking for a friend.

God is our guide, he is seperating the wheat from the chaff. The olive does not produce oil until it is crushed. He must deceive the world in order to separate the vile multitude from his precious chosen people. His creation is perfection, there is nothing to be condemned but man's willful blindness

My point was there is no evidence that the interpretation applies to Isaac and not Ishmael as the situation was specific at the time of Hagar and Ishmael, to reinterpret it as Abraham could have been shown a prophecy is work which is dangerous

I totally understand your critique and don't expect you to agree. As I wrote before this interpretation is not my own it is from the book pirkei derebi eliezer which was written two thousand years ago. We Jews look at this book with much respect and it is for that reason that we are not quick to disregard what he says . There's a difference bw a question that claims that something is absurd, and a question that claims that's not how I would have understood. I hope you understand what I mean, that some things don't have only one way to interpret. I actually appreciate your point that there is "danger" in interpreting things arbitrarily, it's something not self evident, especially in my experience with overly liberal Jews, I imagine the same thing is a topic of discussion in Islam? Anyway in the case in point there is no danger as the interpretation is part of our tradition and it's not in anyway absurd, just surprising. More importantly the takeaway from my class is for Jews to pray, which is not a dangerous conclusion at all. May I ask btw why you listened to my class? You don't have to answer I'm just curious. I assume Judaism doesn't interest you but rather you were curious if Jewish rabbis are trying to promote hate and violence, and I hope I allieved your fears, but I'm curious what the true reason is:)

Hello rabbi, I am a student of comparative religion, I actually respect the Jewish religion quite a bit and I have a lot of affection for the Jewish people. Not so much for the Zionists and those that want to sow corruption in the land. I believe Jews and Muslims are very compatible in faith and those that follow it correctly are the ones who deserve to inherit the guardianship of the lands. Interestingly the Jews lived quite well in the Muslim lands and flourished under Islam. To answer your question I love to study Abrahamic religions and love history, I also like to see the evolution and history of interpretation into primary source texts. That’s why for me when certain interpretations are made without primary source evidence I get cautious, perhaps I could have been less harsh of dismissing the interpretation but I know people take these understanding and take the wrong lesson. You see with this one interpretation of the Jews were to pray and Muslims were to pray for the same issue the result would be different for each. We don’t pray for anyone’s distraction rather we pray for people to be guided and for Good of humanity

Hi thanks for your response:) Contrary to what the media would like you to believe the Jews in Israel only want and pray for peace, if the Palestinians of today would want peace (and not to destroy us from the river to the sea) and pray for peace I guarantee you there would have been a two state solution long ago. From a history perspective what you said about the Jews flourishing under Islam is something I want to research more, bc I've seen it elsewhere as well, but on the other hand Maimonides complained that the arabs were horrible to the Jews.. Wishing you all the best with love and peace for the whole world!!!
