What do you gain by adding these parts? Horsepower, fuel efficiency ?
I picked one up here in PA over a Hellcat ('19) This is my second Scat, 6th Mopar. The deciding factor, besides this mf'er being beautiful in person, was that it was available in m6! Could not do a Hellcat in A8, that's more of a status thing to me and dudes fighting over that extra second. I just don't want to be the slowest lol and m6 is a blast! good vid! earned a sub, bro.
Just picked up a 392 manifold starting to gather parts to rebuild the top end of my 5.7. MDS solenoid cylinder one decided to stop reactivating after going into 4 cylinder mode. No ticking think it’s just the solenoid. But to be safe I’m going to delete MDS, going 392 cam ported 392 intake non MDS lifters, going to rebuild heads, new oil pump water pump all that get it rejuvenated. It’s a 2016 pursuit with 159,000 miles.
Wow so much hate on modding your rides 😒 why? Most ppl that modded there v6 are happy with the few or more horse power they have. Alll of this is under $7k vs $80k-100k ride (demond&hellcat)😒

If you gutted the whole interior it makes a huge difference, talking like… headliner, door trim, all of it, and it weighs around 3,800-3,700 lbs if you do

A really easy way to get the air out of any cooling system is to park the vehicle on an incline. start the engine, let it warm up to the normal temperature, turn on your heater and your fan on full for a few minutes and then shut it down for the night. The next day all the air will be gone. Tighten the cap rad cap all the way back down. Your cooling system is now completely bled of air.
That car being a Mopar edition, I’m shock there’s no open cold air intake, I know it has the old hellcat hood with the open vents but still.

I know this video is a few years old, but I do have a question for you. Why is there a big circular hole on the backside of the intake that will just allow more hot air from the engine in to the air filter? It doesn’t make sense that there’s a big hole on the backside. Do you have any idea why that is there, I have seen many cold air intakes and the more blocked from the engines the better.
This cold air intake in part of the shaker kit. The hole is for the shaker air duct.

Coming from a 6.0 trans am built I love that thing such a beat LS is a good platform , but I now have a 5.7 Challenger plan on building this thing and go all out like I did with my Trans Am but this route definitely going boost

Do these cars get quieter when they adapt to "granny driving". Ive been using cruise control at 55mph in sport mode quite a bit and one day when leaving work the car was quieter and seemed less touchy. This is in a 2023 scatpack

Fuse is a bridge of power to tcm from battery and whatever between before or after.... u still have power via connected battery and all info is still stored In the tcm... just disconnect ur battery pos and neg if cables long enough touch em together to drain remaining power in vehicle.... connect everything and wait about an hr to drive..... fuse shit does noting.. the pcm has a cache for data files and it gets full.... if u drove the same every exact times the shift and speed patterns would not change and add data files to the cache u fuckin noobs talkin bout I feel the difference lol

Haha I agree I have a shaker as well. The Mopar editions is beautiful don't get me wrong and blue is my favorite color and accent, hence the b5 blue I have of my shaker but.. don't get rid of the shaker lol !! Ever !

@@scatspeed3114 lol good. Suprisingly that Charger Scat Pack had a fair price. A current base scat has more features than the older scats and the price isnt that much higher even with current times. The challenger tho. Is not too bad actually. Slighly overprice for what u geg from it
The last call cars are all overpriced. They look real good but not worth the price.
@@scatspeed3114 my R/T Plus Super Track Pack was 42k it has a bunch of bells and whistles from the factory. It feels like an SRT version of the R/T trim, which came with upgraded suspensions and even a perfomance page which pops up when I press the "Super Track Pack" button on my console. Even then it costed more than a base Scat at the time. Unless I got plain old ripped off lol. Only thing wasnt included was a sun roof and adaptive cruise control. Maybe thats why i feel that charger isnt a bad deal since they come with all those options base
It may not be the issue with my 2019 Scat Pack, I have yet to check... But I started experiencing a vacuum leak recently. When you mentioned that the EVAP hose runs to the bottom rear of the engine, I was very surprised. You see... when my engine gets to running temperature, I start to feel a very light and rapid rumbling (almost like someone frantically gulping for air at 2x speed) around the pedals. When the engine is cold, it briefly runs as it should... But as it warms, the idle becomes rough, and the RPM drop from 1K to 900. I'll update this if I can actually remember to...
Yo. I have a 2022 Scatpack widebody, with under 8k miles. I've been getting a squealing noise (just like you hear from bad belts or pulleys), only occasional, and only at full operating temp (oil 219 to 221 degrees). And it only does it at stop lights or idle, most the time for just 3 seconds or so. Here and there it will squeal or whistle loudly continuously until i start moving again. Brought into Dodge, and tech said 100% was the harmonic balancer 😂 and replaced it and did a coolant flush. Nooo. I picked up, noise was still there. Now they think it's the PCV valve. I'm no mechanic, and although it sorta sounds like a vacuum leak or some air leak, I don't know why it would do it sporadically, and only at idle, and only at full operating temp. Nonetheless, I'll let them replace it, because he's "100%" sure again. I'll update you if you'd like.

How did the black color hold up? I have the same fuel door being delivered tomorrow, but there are tons of reviews saying the color fades.
My car spend 90% of its life in my garage. So far I have not seen any fading at all. Still looks new.
