    I got an 92 4Runner w EFI, my grandpa is a mopar guy and we rebuilt my engine. I thought he just tuned it differently😂 we did the timing like 12 times. It’s a pain in the ass, at this point I accept my Asian off road vehicle is now tuned to muscle. 😂🤓

    How long should this take start to finish without recording a video for it? I want to have this done on my truck and the price of the spartan isn’t bad it’s the mechanics time that’s gonna be a deal breaker for the wife though.

    I have an 88 4Runner with the 3.0 one of the first ones to get the 3.0, I was told there were differences but I figured the engine has to be the same and after a lot of confusing info I went ahead and stuck a new crate engine in and it runs well, The 3.0 in this seems to have plenty of power still I wonder about problems that could show up after some miles

    I got rid of fuel line from the tank to The rail by the dampener and put -6an braided line with a cleanable filter on the frame rail cause the factory fuel filter is a pain im the Aaa. But with that and some bigger Imjectors I picked up a crazy amount of power. Oh and a 340lfm racing pump.

    Yeah, I bought the Subaru Crosstrek new and I never wanted the sunroof because I expected it to be a trouble magnet. And in a big rainfall episode yesterday it started to stream water from the headboard all over the electric window switches. I hope a can of pressurized air will be enough to fix this problem.

    You do not need to remove the dash to get that lower plate off. Unbolt it and drill out the 5 spot welds and it lifts write off. My truck is a 86 if that makes any difference.

    Damn great job helping people like me thats learning as i go i have a 1995 4runner n im trying to fix as much as i can on my own do you know if the tranny has to come off to replace the oil pan gasket??? Im trying not to do unnecessary work🙏🙏

  • @legacynorthwest1249
    @legacynorthwest1249 Жыл бұрын

    Transmission does not have to come off. But make sure to thoroughly clean all oily residue until you can eat off of it. And use a small bead of silicone. I use ultra black, as a gasket or on both sides of the gasket. As well as in between the windage tray and the block. You will have to remove your front differential, as it sounds like you'll be doing this job with the motor still in the truck. Again, any oil gets in there and mixes with the silicone, you'll still have a leak. Good luck!
