Warner D'Souza

Warner D'Souza

So what’s with pottypadre ? My first love was food. From chilli to caramel, curry to chocolaty; the colours, flavors and aromas came together in a heady mix. Love was always in the air when food was there.

And then it changed. From a professional chef to a profession of faith. From MAKING bread that satisfies human hunger, to BREAKING bread to satisfy spiritual needs. And yes, there is that element of madness in me which adds to the intrigue of the name. Peter the apostle left his boat and net. I cheated a bit and carried my ‘pots and pans’ and a lot of madness.

And so the journey of pottypadre begins, unfolding faith and food, art and heritage, travel and decor and opinions-lots and lots of opinions.
Happy Viewing, Happy Sharing !! ❤️

Thank you Father Warner What so many people don't understand is that it was not original sin that prevented our first parents and Cain from walking with God, but failure to take responsibility for what they had done. True remorse activates The Holy Spirit Who is Our Father, if the remorse is not real it won't work

Dear Fr Warner today's text illustrates God's infinite love & forgiveness when we return to Him with complete repentance & new hearts. Fr your anguish was so visible when you spoke about the lack of 'shepherds' who reflect God's heart to give us the spiritual sustenance we need. But we thank God for the gift of you & your faithfulness & love for the scriptures that motivates you to teach us despite your disabilities. Fr we all have sins of the past but also remember that God has sunk them in a sea so deep that they will never surface again. Thank you for blessing us & your heartfelt prayer for priests. Your grotto is beautiful. May our Blessed Mother intercede for your healing. God bless you 🙏🏻💞

I am a born Indian but now a senior citizen from Canada. I like your teachings. I never liked the old testament. I sincerely thank God and you for not only making me understand but even like it enough to occasionally share it with my grand daughter who lives in another city. Hopefully she reads what I sent her. I don't know but at least she talks to me about her views on religion. I just pray that I am able to guide her and keep her on the right track. Please do pray for me and my grandchildren. Thank you.

Although I do not believe "works" do not buy us tickets to heaven, I do feel that in your case, that the teachings and efforts you are putting forth "for God", that he does not want you to feel burdened by any sin of your past. I pray you feel this through the Holy Spirit and enjoy many more years of joy through your efforts. Amen and God bless. USA

Also I watch your teachings either from Porvorim Goa,Or Dubai.I am always going in and out of these two places.I am a Keralite by birth, born to Muslim parents ,married to a Goan for the past 35 years. My conversion has nothing to do with marrying into a Catholic family...Jesus came to me through a believer /pentecostal person...but I never went into their way of belief. Because Christ gave me a strong message during my transformation days...Unless you eat my body and drink my blood there is no life in you❤

What captured my mind immediately is where God says, I am bringing judgement for saying you have not sinned and I thought about in the Chapter of John it is mentioned ...if we say we have not sinned we make Him a liar and His word is not in us...how well connected the Old and New Testement...every Chapter of Old Testement has the presence of Jesus in them.Whatever God spoke in this Chapter it is for now and for end of times forever I can feel.About the people mixed up about the gender of their fake god's.. proved Satan then and now the tricks are same...he has nothing new to offer...and the Word of the Lord is ALIVE and fresh. You read the Word even after another 1000 years I am sure it will resonate with the people living at that time❤❤❤Thank you Father Warner.

Father thank you. Suppose I go to priest and tell this that he and others are not in touch with their sheep what will happen to me? It's scary. Please give us examples of some cases of children rebelling, some examples of good rebellion and some of unjust rebellion. Watching from Tanzania.

GM father, I did the first reading today, and it was about God sending Jeremiah to a Potter who redesigned the pot because it was bad. And God tells Israel that they are like clay in His hands. Sorry but you didn't mention anything like that, maybe in the later chapters you will explain. Waiting for the same.
