Hi Scoutboy, yes you can fly there. You just need to remember the rules about not flying over people and the fact that you can only fly part way out over the bay. Boundary Bay Airport's airspace encompasses a big chunk of the bay and is a no fly zone. Use the drone site selection tool to see restrictions. I had a terrible salmon season this past year and I know lots of other guys who had the same luck. Fish were not biting anything and you'd barely see them roll in the water.

My health hasn't been the same after I had covid and now my lower body seems to just stop trying to produce heat entirely in cool weather and start to get freezing cold and have these deep bone pain waves and that's not gonna work for someone who works outside for 8-10 hours or more regularly!! Gonna try the leggings and socks!

Looks like you could easily mount 3 of the new small LiPo4 batteries and still not weigh anymore than the 1 lead acid and get many hours of run time.
True, but I would need a chunk of money to buy them lol. Those little batteries are crazy expensive but would sure be nice to have!

How long does your battery last in time on avg?
I would safely get 4-6 hours out of it when at low rpm.
Does having the battery and trolling motor in the back add too much weight to rear of boat?
I'm a pretty big guy (6'2", 240lbs) and with all my gear on board it still rides quite level. I now have a front floor board on it and can move some weight up front.

Definitely worth the investment, best headlamp I have had to date. It is somewhat heavy and I am still looking for a cable to move the battery off my head strap, down to my belt. If I can do that, this thing is a breeze to wear for long durations.

Which powder paint do you use and do you have particular steps that you follow? I haven't seen a single good video done on powder coating brass lure bodies.
