  Amazing work that happens under the care of the Medical Team, as our Lady wanted. Thank you Fathers, Dr Donna and the team for shedding so much light, it seems like one fun and exciting spiritual and physical volunteering journey for Christ. A place where medical science bows down to Divine medical miracles. Dr. St. Luke pray for all medical teams serving at Lourdes.

  I am a Catholic adult, I do remember once going to a Reconciliation with a black Priest the first time after that black Priest became my common around me. But I had a first experience, it was the Sacrement of confession, there nothing dramatic about that. It was a normal confession of weaknesses. Oh yeah, I am white. My parish was many black people, mainly from Africa and the Caribbean, rather from black Americans due to historically issues. Most of the black Americans I have met are Protestants. I assume most parishes in Florida are similar. Although it varies around the country, I am aware that New Orleans has more significant African Americans Catholic’s. And I did encounter black Catholic’s in South Carolina due to a parish experience of an Irish immigrant parish in 19th century who were welcomed in church there, but the other folk in protestant church were hostile about this and harassed them. It turns out the numbers of black people descended from those people are still Catholic in part of South Carolina.

  I would love to see Catholic churches as places where you see diverse congregants getting along, serving as a beautifulexample for the rest of the nation. However, the sad reality is much racial segregation within the Church. This is so contradictory to what Catholicism stands for. "Catholic " means "one", universal church.

  Lovely to see you across the river from the Grotto of Lourdes Cardinal. A most exceptional Holy Grotto. Our "used to be hidden sick", thank God, are truly amongst us today and treated in a much more human way. Praise the Lord for such a wondrous miracle! Mother Mary please do continue to help them and all those who need and even bleed for Your intercession and direction, work, protection and an experience of a meaningful, healthy, and happy life. I am here to ask you, to ask God ,Our Blessed Lady with the Angels and Saints of Heaven to protect, guide and lead my sister- Maria Lauchlan Fraser - to Heaven where she will receive God's Love, Forgiveness and Mercy. She has suffered enough. I love her . She came of dialysis yesterday after years of it. Please Love Maria and be with her. I deeply appreciate Your great Protection for her as You lead her to meet the rest of her family in Heaven. Thank You endlessly, Our Blessed Lady of Lourdes.   Black Catholics are a minority . Most people perceive blacks as being protestant in segregated churches by their skin color and culture.

  Wow, I'm black, born in London, Catholic, when did I ever experience rascism that discouraged me... Never!! , because I knew black people and Asians who expressed rascism too. Rascism is just a mentality, a poor one at that. I have never experienced it in the church here or Italy. Sorry black people are not special needs... Anymore. I love living here, I'm free, we don't live in a tolerant we live in an inclusive society. Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland. I've not had a days worth of intolerance. Sweet Jesus is the way. Walk in Jesus. That's it. Nuffsaid.

  I’m a Samoan/Tokelauan that lives in New Zealand. I always wear my cultural clothes to Sunday Mass. Not only is it my Sunday best but it also helps show the universality of our Church. I wish other Catholic’s would embrace their heritage and wear their cultural clothes to Mass. If not every Sunday, than at least the high feasts of Xmas, Easter, Corpus Christi etc.
