My interpretation is that this game takes place after AOL (Zelda 2) and Zelda 1. This is because Ganon would not be able to escape his imprisonment so early, as ALTTP is the first time Ganon escapes his seal by the sages and seizes the complete Triforce after OoT's downfall timeline beginning. Over time, ALBW And ALTTP's Hebra mountains (called this in japanese but in the american release as Death Mountain) froze over and is now extinct or dormant. Zelda's design is more similar to ALBW but has variety so is probably after ALBW. Link's shield isn't the same either as the royal crest differs from LA's remake. In AlttP, Ganon has yellow eyes, speaks and is intelligent. EoW's Ganon has red eyes and seems to be under control of another entity, like OoA and OoS as well as LOZ1 and AoL's Ganon. Both versions of Zora are seen but not in ALTTP or ALBW. These Ocean Zora ( seawater designed Zora) may have come from Labrynna after evacuating from Hyrule AGES ago. So, this game takes place after AoL and before ancient BotW.

It's the Child Timeline. There's too much in common with that branch not to think so, in my opinion, even if the art-style is the same as the remake of a game placed in Downfall.

This is after the zonai left, the key is the Zora's. That Zora King and Zora queen arguing will be resolved with them getting married for the sake of Zora peace and then creating that mutated zora race we see in the switch games.

Tri's triangles relate to how many echoes Zelda had make at a time. If you look at the teaser trailer carefully, you'll see that sometimes Tri is followed by 4 or more trangles, hinting you can upgrade the number of them later. I'm guessing based on blue pig Ganon and both types of Zora being present that this game will take place somewhere in the Downfall (aka the catch-all) timeline, but it's really too soon to guess at an exact placement.

5:38 WRONG nowhere in any zonai architecture clothing or lore has any mention of the triforce.....queen sonia is hylian not zonai...they hid the triforce from the zonai. why does everyone get this wrong?

Triforce heros is the worst game when it comes to story in the franchise. Gameplay is not so great when playing 1 player also. Soundtrack was about the only good thing to come from it.

I do not think Sheikah Shrines would be very useful, especiailly since the Sheikah slate is gone. I don't think the Purah Pad would activate tye sensors to enter the shrine.

Tri: Ah, i've finally found ya, Zel!, i knew what happened to Link, he's the damsel now!, so you'll have to return the favor! but i dont think using a sword would be great for you... i have a better idea in mind... what i created is the Trirod, a Rod that makes stuff from my floating Triangles, they're called Echoes, alot of things can be echoes, even bad guys can be your allies! so its dangerous to go alone, GET CREATIVE!

It did retcon , oot is literally the origin of Ganondorf . So or the game story was for nothing, and Ganon always existed . Or he was just another existence in a later timeline.

@@AbsurdZeldaTheories not before ocarina of time era , you can say existed a demon king to represent the demise curse , but no gerudo or Ganondorf whatsoever was show then , matter fact he didn't become Ganon until he got his hands in the Triforce in oot . From that point wards he becomes a constant problem in many timelines , having different incarnations . The only way to this work out is being later in the timeline or be a soft reboot of the series.

I 100% think this game is a mixture of multiple…. Maybe this is the Zelda teams way of connecting multiple timelines into 1 again. Because this not only holds links awakening looks but holds a lot of the breath of the wild timeline style.

I'd never thought about the Triforce / Goddesses having a 'middleman' conduit - that makes sense tbf! Sorta interesting as well that all of the 3 Triforce holders that we've never seen Zelda make a wish on the full artifact. I wonder what she'd request...?

Zelda Lore went over a bit of the Japanese side and seems that Tri name is more closer to a Forest spirit (not sure it's the same but might have a relation to the Koroks), which explain why Tri look like a Korok. But it's a bit confusing why they chose that over something related to Nayru, if we going for Wisdom.

I think you're at least spot on about the Fi comparison. The spirit of the Master Sword and the Essence of the Triforce The Fujibayashi era of games have redefined Zelda's role and the mechanics of the Triforce. It's possible Zelda just has the full Triforce within her from the start and Link's disappearance necessitated the essence's intervention via this "mysterious fairy"

the 4! triangles behind the fairy, don't actually disappear Thay just move above the echoes! The triangles are basically a “magic meter” . 4 triangles, so 4 echoes at one time! when we 1st see the fairy we only see 3 triangles and then later 4 indicating over the adventure of the game you can increase the # of triangles / echoes you can have! just like you can with hearts! So you could all so say the fairy is not creating matter out of nothing, but rather it is transforming part of its self in to things! And yes some echoes take more then one triangle to make!
