Awesome mail from a very generous man. STG knows how to make you feel welcome! Love to see the support for Serpent. He is a wonderful person and an amazing friend. Great share! ✨👊🏼
Hey LBS, thanks for stopping by and watching :)
@@fgstacker My pleasure. Have a great day! ✨
Thanks for the mail call FG. My pleasure to give you some silver and gold! Tbh I was confusing your channel with another channel whose videos I watched the same night, so that part about coins appreciating over the years was kind of meant for him, lol. So sorry. Yes I have the 2014 already. Wouldn't want to take your only Kook anyways. Thanks again and I'll have to check out Serpent's video.
Ah man, glad you watched, but I was hoping the 2014 was one you might need in that run! Regarding the "appreciating", I was trying to think if I had actually shown my ASE's in a video before. I bought from 1987-1998 (minus the 92 & 94) back in '98 for what I considered a real premium price of $8 each (I believe melt was just above $5 back then). I certainly wish I had picked up more back at that time! ;)
Awesome toners. Always good to have that deep stack piece.
Hey Vegas! Thanks for stopping bye and watching :)
I do enjoy some nice color toning
Hey MSJ, thanks for watching! Toning just gives each coin/item individual character :)
@@fgstacker Exactly
Beautiful toned silver
Hey SS, good to see you and thanks for watching!
Very nice 🧲⚓️👍
Thank you for watching!
Ooooh love the pours and the stamp!! Liver of sulfur. Play around with the different water heat temps and dipping times. Baking soda to help seal the deal or to scrub it off as a natural abrasive. Took me a few tries. Next time I’ll jot notes down as far as the water temp at time of dipping. Good news is you can always polish them up and try again. I did notice more color tones on the places I used the JAX silver blackener for the stamping. I’d love to do a silver trade with you if you are interested. Doesn’t have to be anything crazy big 😁 love the pours! Lions fan here. But that is a beautiful piece your daughter did 🤍
I unsubscribed and resubscribed just now because I wasn’t getting your notifications
I've noticed that I often am not getting notifications also. Very odd. Hope the re-subscribe works!
I will have to look at getting some. I knew there was something I could mix into water, but hadn't gotten around to investigating that yet :) I would certainly be up for a future trade, but each of these initial pieces are a little lite, so I am prepping to do another set of pours soon'ish... when the weather cools off just a bit!
Awesome prototype pours! ✨👊🏼
We are still figuring out exactly what we want to do for them, but it's too hot to do more pours at the moment! LOL.
@@fgstacker It's been a warm year. We broke a record yesterday in Vegas. 118° at the airport. 🥵
You should leave it with the egg for about a week. Hopefully you will get some colors. Sweet painting by your daughter!
Hmm, so longer in the sulfer generates other colors? I will have to boil up some more eggs when it isn't so hot out and give it a try! How did you like those Mercury dimes? Thanks for watching :)
@@fgstacker I believe so. Try it out. Just make sure its sealed good, lol. Love those Mercs man! My favorite Constitutional silver coin!
Hope you had a good 4th! I have never seen that on a penny before.
Sweet toned ladies. I like your daughter's painting. Go Raiders! 👊🏼
Thanks for watching! I haven't told her, but that football gives me Charlie Brown vibes ;)
@@fgstacker That image of Lucy holding the football just popped into my head 😆👍🏼
I've had a couple of those vintage rounds before. The Phantom coin I believe was made by the Perth Mint.
Love amethyst. Was that real gold or fools gold, lol. I use to collect rocks and minerals.
There was a big lump of pyrite, but what was in the pan was real! I still need to find my miller table and get it out for final recovery. I am thinking of melting all my placer gold into a button.
I'm shocked that wood held up as good as it did. Seriously man, Idk how safe this is but the results are cool as heck🤣
Sweet chip and sticker from Serpent!
I think Liberty Bleeds Silver started the challenge but who knows, lol. Cool top 10! Some pieces i've never seen before.
Very nice design! I actually got one of those years ago as part of an auction lot. I still got it. Yes it was a perfume bottle. I'm sure she loves it!
She does! I am thinking of opening my 10oz shot jar and filling it with silver shot for her :)
You should keep the pour if you didn't melt it by now, lol. Man I wish I had known your into world coins now.
Nice lot of coins, especially the Mexican Olympics one.
Wow that's so cool you got to meet Silver Dragons as well as visiting a ledgendary coin shop. The 1966 $0.50 is 80% silver. I always say do you research before you buy, but sometimes you just have to have it no matter what, lol. I'm often pulling my phone out to check stuff before I buy if I don't know about it.
Very nice of Tuli to send you her stickers and chip!
Love the goldbacks! Like you said beautiful artwork. Congrats on scoring your first slabbed Morgan! Cool Patton coin.
Happy Fourth 🎉🎉🎆
Hope yours was good too! Thanks for watching :)
Nice penny
Thanks for watching! Any idea's on that stamp?
@@fgstacker Sorry, no clue. I'm still new to all this. Are you a member of Stackers Social?
Yes, I certainly am :)
That’s really cool 🧲👍⚓️
Thanks for stopping by and watching :)
Happy 4th
Hey BCL, you too! Hope your wife is doing well, and you too on the career front. :)
Very Nice Finds ! 👍
Hey, thanks for watching!
Subbed! GSM Eagle is great design.
So many excellent "generic" rounds out there, it was had to settle on just one ;) Thanks for watching and for the sub!
Merc dimes are my favorite junk silver coins. Congrats on finding the micro S!
I had a lot of fun sorting through the Merc's in the stack. They had never really been searched that we know of - they came from my wifes aunt, who had passed away a few years ago. Finding the Micro S was definitely fun ;)
Wow suprised to see a 21 toned that much.
I was too. I don't know why, but I really like the nearly-terminal dark toning on the Morgans. It doesn't always come through on the camera very well, but the deep midnight blues and bronze on some of them are just beautiful to me.
Ouch! Sorry you got skunked on the coin. This is just one reason why I stopped buying on whatnot. You really can't see details like that. Reason why buying in person is your best bet.
I was really okay with it in the end. The Whatnot seller really did stand behind it and made it totally good in my book. I wish the coin didn't have the damage, but ya, i learned a valuable lesson about online buying.
It's always nice when you have some type of connection to a coin. You can never go wrong with AGE's and vintage silver😍
The AGE was at the right price and it was my first of those. I like to get a variety as it keeps things interesting, but am always watching for stuff at the "right" price.
Oh man wish I would of watched this a while back, lol. Thanks for the mention! I was on Whatnot and had to delete it. I got addicted, lol. Love that constitutional silver you got! Cool history about the Morgan.
I also felt the addiction to winning the auctions, but have taken a break.
You have some unique pieces of gold that I haven't seen before. Love the dos pesos. I gotta get some more goldbacks too. Thanks for the shout out. Very nice of MSJ. Send me a message if you wanna do a mail trade.
I am guessing you mean the 1/2 oz from the Smithsonian Founders set? Ya, I had to really dig around to find that when I was trying to verify that it was real/authentic. It's not an actual coin, so i guess it's technically a medal, but was put out in a set along with a 1/4 oz. piece that was offered to Smithsonian "Founders". It's too bad that the NGC holder got broken, but if it hadn't, I likely wouldn't have bought it. If you google for "1838-2017 1/2 oz Proof Gold Liberty Eagle Smithsonian Founder's Set" you can find an example.
Great video and Mail call 🤙📬😊
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the shout out. I'm glad it got to you safely 😊
Hey MSJ, thanks for coming by and watching, and thanks for including the stickers! Please pass a thank you on to Bob as well! If I lived on that side of the country, I would certainly make it a point to visit his shop. Missouri is about as far east as I get with any regularity, visiting family.
@@fgstacker I will be sure to give him your massage
Very nice stuff 🧲⚓️👍
Thank you for watching!
Great mail call and lovely gold pieces. Great job on the goldback pick up at that price!!!
Thanks for stopping by to watch. I love the art on the Goldbacks. I am working on "collecting" a set of 1 of each. They are truly fine works!
That's a lovely fractional buffalo and giveaway. Congratulations on your win! Love the gold coins too, especially the Napoleon!
I had to get that one to match the silver and since it was 1st in the series ;) Thanks for taking time to watch!
Loving the gold pieces
Thanks for watching!
Awesome Score , Very Nice Pickups ! 👍
Thanks for watching! :)
Sweet pickups 👍😊
Hey, thanks for watching! :)
Absolutely stunning 🧲⚓️👍
The constitution round was my favorite of this lot, even though the Phantom was the best "looking". Thanks for watching!
I knew you were stacking fools gold🤣
I somehow knew you were going to bring that up! LOL :) Thanks for watching.
@@fgstacker 👊😎
😂 I was not prepared for the music. Love the gold
Nice, Glad you ended up panning it out!!!
It was certainly fun! Now I just have to dig out my Miller table to separate it from the black sand.
Love the music!!
Thanks for watching! I had fun with adding that music in ;)
Oooo yerrrr your going to have so much fun and I bet you get #goldfever ✨⚓️🧲👍😁
It was a fun fathers day weekend, and I will posting up the video of it shortly!
