    The airbag cover is designed to split horizontally allowing the airbag to escape when deployed. With a layer of carbon fibre in it's way, things could get interesting...

    Hi, new subscriber 👍🏻 doing a few projects on my own car. You do an Incredible job! What do you do to the carbon material before hand. You are pulling it about and it's not distorting at all. This is the part I'm struggling with the most. Any help would be really appreciated 😊

    Is the part at 0:29 made out of plastic? I'm new to the carbon thing and i'd like to ask. Are carbon fiber mirrors only made out of carbon wrapped around plastic ( or whatever the material of the part at 0:29 is) orthey can be made as well completely from carbon fiber layers put together?

    Great video but you cut out the most important part! It looks like you use some kind of adhesive on the back of the carbon cloth because you'd never be able to push and manipulate the cloth like that normally without damaging it? Do you have info on how you lock the carbon together like that?

    skilled hands!! Mind if I ask a few questions? 1. Did you attach the steering wheel to the center part with double sided tape? 2. what adhesive did you use to attach the carbon to the steering? 3m Spray 77? I heard its prone to delaminate.. 3. You finished it with matte clear coat? 4. 200grs/m2 OR 240grs/m2? Thank you.

  • @CARBONART.
    @CARBONART.6 ай бұрын

    Hi, thanks 🙏🏼 1. the Center part is fix with a click around the edges, have make there 2-3mm edges 2. We use a 2 component high temperature resistant glue. You can look in your country someone for leather and make test. Also you can use the classic Methode with epoxy. Iportent high temperature resistant too. Different is only you must be waiting same hours( 4-6) that it get sticky before you can place the Carbon Fiber. 3. Yes I have finish it with matte clear coat 👍🏻 4. Yes, 240grm2 Best regards

    Hi, can you please write clearly the name (designation) of used carbon material, which contains the epoxy resin? As I understand, it is not a normal carbon fiber, because it is with resin. Can you please write the name of used carbon fiber and maybe where I can buy it? It would be very kind from you.

    Carbon fiber with epoxy already infused is called prepreg (pre impregnated) carbon fiber, and I’m assuming that’s what he used

Recently started it myself been doing same g wagon parts as u, worst part I'm struggling is keeping it clean, I can see that u got some carbon that has like a glue on it already, is there a name for it and where do u get it from? As struggling with plain stuff that I have.
