I enjoyed listening in on your bible study. I appreciate the questions and answers, it helps to clarify. I’ve had people use the verse that Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. John 3:16… that whoever believes in Him has eternal life. That exclude all who denies him!

I have so many past anxieties and failures that are constantly haunting me, and I have so much pain and regret that is hurting my heart, I am always thinking back what I could’ve and should’ve done differently and it makes me so angry that I can’t go back and correct all the errors I made and right all of the wrongs that I did, I am in desperate need of clarity and peace, I just want all of the painful memories, and all of the shame, guilt, regret, torment, and condemnation to just go away, I just want to stop being burdened with all this and let go of it all and move on, I’ve learned a lot from my past mistakes, I just want to change and be better, and I’ve learned to put god first before absolutely anything else in my life, and I also pray that he removes all the obstacles towards my hope and future
Philippians 3:12-14 "not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. 13 Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." If you have faith and trust in Jesus Christ then I encourage you to refuse to dwell on past sins and failures. To be distracted by the past debilitates one’s efforts in the present. We walk in the direction we are looking. Look forward my friend, thankful for God's forgiveness and that our past sins and failures are as far away as the east is from the west.

I love knowing God's Word will always come to pass. One day, this will be a reality, to the praise of His glorious name.
As the days get darker His light shines brighter. His Word a lamp for our weary feet and water for our thirsty souls. Our identity in Jesus Christ as children of God is the most precious gift imaginable and under constant attack. The dark realm is sick! which is like an oxymoron but I said it any ways lol. yea, I only liked one shows rendition of Jesus, from the Book of Matthew (the movie) but still it felt weird to have that. it seems like making an idol of our Living Savior. but yea. I feel so sad, I tried out this new church, and the ladies didn't know basic things about scriptures. and when I had the answer to multiple questions they would state rhetorically (like who knows) they qualified their knowledge by stating "well I do love the Chosen" and the other woman all said "me too" and it obviously didn't actually feed them spiritually yet made them complacent in their knowledge of God. it so upsetting. The dark realm seems to always be on over time, and we should too!
This is extremely misleading about the chosen and a false testimony against them. They do not support Mornanism or Condone Homosexuality and if you do a little research and listen to Dallas on these topics, you will quickly realize that. The gay pride flag that people were all up in arms about, was a 3" flag on the equipment of an independent contractor, not the chosen's stuff and not put there by the makers of the Chosen, an INDEPENDENT contractor... I don't know where this interview came from, but if you actually watch the show, they show Jesus as human, which he was, not sinfully flawed. He got tiered and weak at time, just like we do, and as the bible portrays him to be. Not sinful. That clip, which was taken out of context, was a portrayal, taken from the bible, and anyone who knows their Bible would realize it was a reenactment of an accident biblical account in Luke 2:41-52, when Jesus stayed in Jerusalem when the rest of his family were heading back to Nazareth. He was apart from his parents for days. They looked all over the city and eventually found him in the temple talking with the religious leaders. Now, maybe they didn't punish him, but It is logical that they were upset and scared and that Joseph would expect Jesus to make it up to his mother for making her worry, looking all over the city for him. I've lost my child. I know the feeling. It's horrible!... I have not found anything heretical about the Chosen and I have watched all the episodes several times and know my bible well... People need to stop being so quick to judge. Research things and listen to the actual people involved before jumping to conclusions. Don't just believe what someone on KZread says. Look into it yourself.

There will always be people on this earth that believe that they have the power to read God’s mind and need too feel superior to others. Hate loves to hate - they don’t even realize they are feeding into the plans of the evil one. No one on this earth has the understanding of God. We just have a need to feel better than someone else. Who made you God’s voice? How dare you judge another. That’s God’s job. Discern, love, pray for those who don’t know better but let God be God. He is the savior. He is merciful. Humans are not. Period. Ego and pride destroy all.
I saw a commercial about the chosen and I knew that was not Jesus! Jesus is the word, John the first chapter! If you want to know Jesus read his word! ✝️🌈😇
In the show it was Mary, not Jesus, who spoke about him having flaws. And if you look on her face, she is full of love and means it in an obvious ironical sense. As if she suffers a little about his perfection. ITs in the context of Jesus going to the temple and not telling his parents about it. Of course Jesus had to do it. But what parents would not see that as a flaw? I also have seen no promoting of homosexuals in the show. "I am the law of Moses" is something that Jesus did not say, but in a way it is true, bc he embodied it in perfection. So it is not specifically Mormon, even if written in their wicked Book. And so on. It is typical for many Christians to seek for division and a reason to condemn their brothers in faith instead of seing the good effects of the show. Many say they have been converted partly by the show. I am one of them and I call that a plus. And we are all grown up enough to know that no movie that men make is perfect and that in the end we have to read the bible to get the real picture. So what if you relax a bit, pray for the imperfections to be diminished in the seasons to come and treat your fellow christians with a little respect, good will and trust instead of judging about minor issues or taking them out of context?
The clip provided in our video clearly shows Joseph asking Jesus what he is going to for his mother because of his transgression (sin). It is also stated by the show representatives. There is no irony involved. To suggest that even hinting at Jesus Christ the sinless Son of God is just playful irony is to miss the blasphemy of calling or even hinting that Jesus is anything less than perfect & holy. It is a different Jesus, and a different gospel. We are called to be like the good Bereans in Acts 17, comparing what is said and done in the name of God, to the Word of God. That calls for discernment and a honest Biblical assessment that is more concerned with rightly handling God's Word, than it is with pragmatic results. Your stated minor issues, that are certainly NOT minor, and should be repented of and not overlooked: -The sinless nature of Jesus Christ. -The promotion of homosexuality and Mormonism by the shows actors and crew. (Even if not on screen directly, the indirect influence cannot be understated. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds. Ephesians 5:11 Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.
@@reformedfellowshipchurch4704 Thank you for the long and honest answer. So we seem to agree that many of the issues are not actually IN the show but happen behind the scenes. I completely agree with your criticism on that, but people watch the show and so lets decide from that alone and not from the flaws of some of the makers. I have flaws too, I guess. There is lots of great art out there, done by great artists that were also huge sinners. Does that diminish their art? I dont think so. I dont see, why humor or playful irony would be a sin. Teasing can be done in a loving way. And it is biblical that Jesus parents were not happy about him vanishing without telling them. That does not mean that Jesus sinned. It means that his PARENTS doubted his behaviour. Like lots of people, including the disciples. That human. I insist that the show does not make Jesus a sinner. At least not with intention. I think they try to emphazise his humanity. Maybe they exaggerate that here and there. (f.e. I dont think that Jesus would have needed Matthew for the sermon of the mount. Its obvious in the bible that Jesus was able to speak freely and perfect.) What I often perceive since I became a cristian is, that people hurt and condemn each other under the disguise of certain bible verses. In the sense of "I love you , but I have to tell the truth and so I crush you, question your character and am always right with everything." Can you relate to this perception?
No movie or show it's perfect. Even this video. When I hear people calling our Messiah with His real Hebrew name YESHUA, not Jesus, I will take it more seriously. I rather watching the Chosen (which helped release finally The Sound of Freedom movie) than movies/shows that promote the lgbtweird garbage, sex, drugs and/or bad words like the "gd" word.

You know, the 4th commandment that starts with "REMEMBER"? or what about the those Christians, including pastors, celebrating Xmas, easter (the pagan god eastre?) Or Halloween? My bad, "trick or trunk", and the list goes on. But hey, as long as "Jesus is the reason for the season" no problem right? If people are only taking the Chosen to get to know Yeshua, that's on them. The majority of us have access to a Bible. It's up to each of us to READ IT. And not just one version, because every translation of the Bible is an interpretation of the Bible, unless you go to the original source, Hebrew, because even the Greek had issues with translation. They called Yeshua "Iesus" and later on we ended up with "Jesus". And again, at least that show is better than the garbage that it's promoted nowadays on tv. I am not defending or accusing the Chosen, neither your show, but if you don't read the Bible from yourself, I see how people gets misled so easy.
