  Did you have keep in consideration to dismount from the stearingWheel the gray plastic cover that contour the three holds points? It' should be may be easilery to fit the cover underneth instead of tuck it with the plastic handle tool ?

  I don't normally comment on videos, but I have to recommend this product to anyone seeking a new look and feel to their car. The video certainly helped! Took me about 3 hours to fit the thing (and it is super fiddly!), but it's on now - it looks beautiful, fits perfectly and feels great. The box comes with more than you should need: I wasn't wanting for any extra thread or anything. The only additional tools you will want is a T20 (Torx) screwdriver and a flat blade such as a screwdriver. I found that threading 4x the length of the span you're stitching give heaps of left over. I did the first part at 3x and was starting to worry that it wouldn't be enough (it _just_ fit). Go easy on the double-sided tape. The cover won't move once on, and if you put the tape everywhere (like I did) then it's hard to make minor adjustments as you are stitching. If I did it again, I'd just do close to the spokes (3, 6, 9 o'clock) and a small strip at the top (12 o'clock). Be patient and be thorough - if it comes out anything like mine, you will not be disappointed.

  Do you leave the over hanging parts at the BACK ( 3 , 6 and 9 o'clock ) where you cannot tuck it in to the steering wheel like he did at the front or do you cut the excess off and glue it down ??

  Best video i have seen on the net on stitching BUT i am confused as to how rolling the cotton (11:19 ) around the needle makes a knot... Can anyone explain this to me PLEASE ........ I am about to receive my cover and would love to know... Cheers..

  Great work. I found the same one at the scrap 2 weeks ago. Took the whole steering wheel with it. Now, I just have to push the material in between to make it look professional. I'm happy that I didn't have to do the sowing 😅😅.

  Looks good if it will work for your wheel, but you have to have a premium wheel already. If you have a 2015-2020 with the standard black steering wheel, don't waste your money. The back of that wheel is fully molded, and there are no crevices to tuck the excess material.

  little tip: I see that the cover on the steering wheel where the M logo is is partly free, cut off the piece and stuff it in, it looks much more professional. I cut it off and stuffed it in at the corners near the M logo. Now it looks like the original

  Hello. Can you make original measurement for wheel cover? In the video you show the process leaving the old cover on the wheel so I'm guessing your product is a little bit bigger than the original piece. I would like to remove and replace the old leather cover so the Heat feature of my wheel is not affected. Please let me know. Thanks.

  One day, if I want to remove the cover, will the adhesives froom double tape damage the underlying leather steering wheel? Will it leave permanent marks over underlying original BMW leather steering wheel?
