typcial pakistani… wants to sell a book but will only speak half truths, skirt the obvious issue of calling a spade a spade and do the usual “soldiers were very brave” but wont say that their military was so heinous that they refused to accept the bodies back and India gave them a proper burial as per their religious customs…

Bravery of pakistani soldiers😂😂😂. Sitting on 17,000 ft with artillery fire support, HMG's, LMG's, stinger missiles, still get booted out. Indian flags on Kargill heights flying when Nawaz Sharif meeting Bill Clinton.

Lady mixing some shit in b/w as well, India taking Siachin is very different from Pak's Kargil incursion. Siachin is on LOC and no was manning it permanently. Pakistan had plans to take it over permanently, INdia got wiff of pakistan's cold weather procurement plans from European vendor and beat pakistan into their plans. Now Kargil is well within Indian side of LOC and hence India had every right to pound any one and it is not vicious, if pak had done that, then it would courageous answer? what a duplicity. Someone talking about nuclear option during peace time is very much different than some one talking about during a active conflict engagement. Lady is very hurt about pounding.

The biggest enemy of Pak nation is the self serving ' intellectual mafia', of which the lady is best example. They lack intellectual honesty and clarity, to speak truth. Till date, Pak has not retrieved itself from under the huge debris called Kargil, under which it lies buried.

Occupying post from where the Indian forces had withdrawn due to weather , is an act of mountaineering not a military achievement as the author would want people to believe.

Excellent work by Imtiaz Sahibzada of translating the book written by Bacha khan, so the world come to know about the struggle of khudai khidmatgar movement for the independence of the sub-continent. The book written by Mukalika Bannerjee, " The Pathan Unarmed" , which i have read is also a great work.

There was no strategic aim behind Kargil intrusion by pakistan. It was a directionless operation. At the most it was a tactical operation.

Trouble with historians here, some of whom fail to rise above their religion, is that while they consider European expansion as colonialism but Islamic expansion is however called Universalism. Bloody hypocrisy, type of one which Yasin Malik shows while saying Do not give up gun while doing the same himself. With advantage of hindsight it would hpefully be clear that stone-pelting had been turned into an economic activity by Pakistani protponents. BTW after Pakistan accepted Junagadh's accession, it lost any right to question Indian right to do the same in J&K; where despite having a standstill agreement, Jinnah had the stupidity to send intruders (tribals and regulars) thereby forcing Hari Singh's hand.

Wonderful conversation by these brilliant ladies. The clergy use Islam to oppress women when Qur'an empowered women of Arabia. The slow systematic dumbing down society by home politics and apathy towards real issues is going on for decades in Pakistani drama.

I am surprised how much unknown these speakers are from the reality. One says elections do not represent true sentiments. The same logic applies everywhere including Britain USA and Pakistan. 2ndly another speaker says that in such a large populated country has education issues. Oh my God!!!! I doubt if there is any country in South Asia that is 100% educated.

Sir&Madam, a basic issue of Pakistan since its inception is a severe mismatch between its aspirations and capacities.it has set its goals very high considering itself to be a major player in international arena. This has diverted its resources to become a major military power. As a result its politics, economy and society development has suffered significantly. The army-politics culture has become deep rooted and is extremely resistant to change. The army is the sole arbiter of pakistan's destiny.
